Top Ten Places

Today we got to talk about the top ten most endangered historic places. A teacher named Ms. Mullinix from Hannibal LaGrange Univercity came to talk to us about the top ten endangered places in the United States. Alexis ,David and I did Fort Gaines. It is a battlefield in Mobile Bay north of Alabama. Ms.Mullinix had pictures of everyones places. You could tell it was ours because it showed a big battlefield. Traveling with Ms.Mullinix was fun!

This Chistmas I got to see my cousin Ayla. She bought me fingernail polish and candy because she know's that I'm crazy about candy. Then my sister, brother and I went to our grandma's to open our presents. My grandma got me a red, black, gray and,ogange navy purse and when I looked inside I saw $2 and bath and body work things. My sister was so happy because she wanted this barbie bath set and she didn't know she going to get it for Chistmas because it cost $24. My brother had got the hat he wanted and shirts and pants he wanted too! Then I went home to open prsents fast so I can go to St.Louis to see the side of my dad's family. When we got there I got to go to my older cousin's house and to see my little cousin's house! That was the coolest Christmas ever!

Atmos Energy is a gas company. It helps you save gas. Make sure you close windows or doors so the heat won't come out. If you ever smell something bad tell your parents. If you ever go somewhere make sure to turn the lights off and thermostat on low. When you take a long shower make sure you don't use a lot of hot water. The extension cord can help you save energy. It just depends. We learned so much .

Today the 5th and 4th grades got to go to a play. It was called the Princess and the Pea. A prince was looking for a princess to marry. The prince's mom was making all the choices for him.The 1st princess did not pass the test.The 2nd princess was funny! She did not even take the test but,she swam down the river.Four men were trying to catch her! Going to the Hannibal High School is fun!

Today we had an assembly about being safe in the car. The person asked how fast does the airbag come out. The answer is 200 miles per hour. The women taught us the right way to put your seatbelt on. The funniest thing that happen was the man got some kids and made a rap.Today we learned about being safe in the car!

On November 1,2011 Mrs.Mannigal came to our class for nutrition. We learned about the food groups. We also learned about My Plate. We got to make a banana and peanut butter wrapped in a tortilla.Then we got to play a game. The other lady was playing the game funny with us. Nutrition with Mrs.Mannigal was fun!

On October 30,2011 we had started our monster project.The part I had was the wings.It was very hard to finish it.One both wings it took alot of work.It had to be 6 feet!I thought it had to be very good looking.I was happy it did not have to slimy.It was hard hanging the wings on the wall because they were to long.The monster project was cool!

On Monday we learned about herbivores,carnivores, and omnivores. Herbivores are consumers that get energy by only eating plants. Carnivores are consumers that only eat animals. Omnivores are consumers that eat both animals and plants. We got to look at dead animal heads. We had to think about what animal head it would be. We also played a game about thinking what animal we are. The last thing was my favorite! We got to touch animal fur. The fur was very,very soft. Marquala

On September 11, 2001 the Twin Tower fell because a terrorist attack. One plane flew into the North Tower and the other one flew into the South Tower.My mother told me that she was in the hospital that day . A lot of firemen risked thier lives to save those peopl. When that was over New York was very sad.
