8 Mega Pixel Cammera

Article posted March 6, 2012 at 05:19 PM GMT • comment (2) • Reads 338

Dear Dad,
As you know I have been asking for a camera for months. I have some arguments that I am POSITIVE will persuade you to getting me the camera.

My first argument is I’ll pay 60%. You only have to pay 40% $$$$$. You save money. You won’t just see it lying on the floor. I could get famous for just 40 %. Just 40%. I’m paying 60%. Read about the Machinima thing in the next paragraph.

My second argument is I’ll look online before we go so I can pick which one I want. I know you hate waiting. Dad, do you want me to have the most horrible quality on YouTube? If I get it maybe my voice will sound normal on YouTube. If my voice sounds better I’ll get more subscribers. If I get more subscribes I will email Djhes asking if he can get me a partnership with Machinima. If I get a partnership with Machinima I can get money off my videos. Pretty awesome right.

My third and final argument is I’ll take care of it. This time I’m serious. Remember the thing about Machinima and the $$$(money) $$$. We can also keep memories in High def. 8MP Mega Pixels. Awesome.

Well that’s it for this blog. I hoped you enjoyed. Please comment.
Sincerely,
Zayne

Ben's Big Ideas

Article posted December 13, 2011 at 06:03 PM GMT • comment • Reads 199

Do you know about Ben Franklin’s big ideas? I’m going to tell you about a few of them. I really think you are going to enjoy this essay.

Did you know Ben Franklin published the first almanac? An almanac has tons of information like, when to plant things or when the sun is going to rise. There is so much more information in an almanac. The almanac was called Pour Richards almanac.

You probably know Ben Franklin invented the lightning rod. He wanted to prove that lightning and electricity are the same. He couldn’t do his experiment because there was not a high hill he could test it on. In the spring of 1752 his experiment was proved. One of the scientists that tested it died because he was careless.
His final big idea was to convince France to help with the war. This happened in 1776. He went to Europe to get all the money he could.

Those were Ben’s big ideas. Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed this essay.

Hattie and Otto's Adventure

Article posted December 6, 2011 at 05:26 PM GMT • comment • Reads 218

One warm sunny morning Hattie and Otto headed out to their new home. Otto and Hattie just got married. They were moving to Nebraska. On the trip they had to ration their food so they could eat it before they cropped their land. When they got to the land they had enough food to last. They decided to build a house.

While they were building Otto got sick. Otto had a fever. Hattie had to build the house on her own. She had to crop the land alone. She also had to nurse Otto. The house wasn’t getting built. Hattie tried building the house on her own but she couldn’t do it. It was very hard.

Hattie thought her present could buy medicine for Otto. Hattie opened the box. There was nothing inside. She didn’t know what to do. She was scared. She thought she could do something but there was nothing to do.
Many days later Otto felt better. He was walking and he was healed. Hattie was so happy, it was amazing. Otto was perfectly better and he helped her with the house.

In the end they finished the house. They cropped their land. Otto built a special place in the house for the box. It was for protection. Hattie and Otto continued on with their lives.

The End

My Trip On the Mayflower

Article posted November 8, 2011 at 05:32 PM GMT • comment • Reads 321

Dear Mom, November 11, 1620
Hi. How are you? Has anything interesting happened since I left? I hope you can come to the new land when and if we find it.
November 7, 1620

Storms have stated coming. Everyday someone says storms are coming. Down below it’s very damp. All we eat is biscuits, cheese, and salted pork. I hope the storms clear up. If the storms don’t die down, life will get a lot harder for the sailors.
November 10, 1620

The storms are horrible. We almost hit a rock. The waves were throwing us left and right. We tried to turn but the waves kept throwing us. It’s was horrible. The sailors could barley see. The captain spun to the left so hard the back almost flew off. The captain saved us.

It was amazing. I could barley breath. The storm died down but it was still raining. We kept sailing on. Then we heard someone say land ho. They set out a canoe and went to find a good spot.

The sailors just came back. We are going to get off the boat. Now we can eat fresh food, my clothes can get washed and I can drink fresh water. I’m excited! It’s amazing!

The End

What I think Ben Johnsons ment about Shakespeare

Article posted October 6, 2011 at 05:14 PM GMT • comment (1) • Reads 392

Why I think Ben Johnsons meant when he talked about Shakespeare. Ben Johnsons said” was not of age, but of all time. I think it means his plays would keep being performed for all time. We turn his plays in to movies. We can change his plays. We can perform his plays we changed. That’s what I think Ben Johnsons said about Shakespeare.

How the Everglades was made

Article posted September 30, 2011 at 09:56 PM GMT • comment • Reads 354

This is how the Everglades was made. First there was a sea. The sea had seashells. Over the eons the seashells became limestone. The moss grew ferns, then grass and finally trees. Lake Okeechobee spilled over into the Florida bay. Saw grass grew and insects came. Only alligators and turtles could go through the saw grass. That’s how the Everglades was made.

American Music

Article posted September 9, 2011 at 04:57 PM GMT • comment • Reads 389

I think American music is rock music. They use guitars. Guitars have strings that you strum to make noise. You can also hold frets. The drums are have very strong paper so the drum sticks can hit the paper. The sound can also be different because of drum stick. Singing in rock music is base or a low voice. That’s what I think American music is.
