I don't get why books are banned over silly things! why would you ban the Giver? the school has been reading it for a long time and only thing I heard about the book is that it is amazing and it is the best. Also Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it is a classic! Instead of banning theses awesome books just don't read it if your parent says not to. I still read banned books even though it says a swear it still is a good book. I read banned books.
