Have you ever heard about Sacagawea? If you didn’t know then I’m going to tell you! Sacagawea was a young Indian girl, she join the Lewis and Clark expedition in November 4, 1804 when she was about 12 years.
My questions is did Sacagawea ever go on any other journeys? I think that Sacagawea never went on another journey after the Luis and Clark expedition. How old was Sacagawea’s son when she died? I think that he was 5 years old when she died. In February 1805, Sacagawea gave birth to a son named Jean Baptiste Charbonneau. On the Lewis and Clark expedition Sacagawea had to carry Jean Baptiste on her back. She was a brave American; she was also an awesome person to me. She was a great person she made me think that I shouldn’t be scared and shy I should me brave like her. Sacagawea married Toussaint Charbonneau. At about thirteen years of age, in 1801, Sacagawea was bought, and taken as a wife by Toussaint Charbonneau, a French trapper living in the village. She was born around 1788.
Sacagawea was a awesome person to write about she had lots of cool experince and some were bad but i bet she injoyed it.Hoped you like my essay and I hope you learned new things about Saacagawea!

One summer afternoon as Derek and Rory were walking to Bolivia’s aunt’s house, they decided to invite Bolivia to the pool. They wanted to bring Lucette with them but there was a sign that said no pets were allowed in. They got really upset that they had to go back and take Lucette home; they promised her that they will come home as soon as possible. When the boys and Bolivia left, Bolivia put Lucette in her cage; she was really bored and didn’t have anything to do.
**1 hour and 30 minutes**
Hey were home yelled Bolivia! Lucette woke up in a flash she started to fly all over the cage. Bolivia opened the cage and Lucette went on her arm, Bolivia just remembered that she left the boys outside she ran out and nobody was out there. She thought that the boys were mad at her for closing the door on them. Bolivia went and changed clothes and then she and Lucette went to the Derek’s and Rory’s house. One there way she didn’t feel Lucette on there arm she wander did I lose her again she `cried and cried!
Lucette she called out she heard a noise coming from the top of the tree. It was Lucette she saw her on the top of the tree stuck, she called help everyone started to cluster. A lady called 911 and the ambulance came and got her down! She was so happy that they got her down. She thanked the lady and then she went home and called Derek and Rory and invited them over for lunch.

Do you know about the racers and dogs at the Iditarod and the Jr. Iditarod? Well if you don’t know then read this essay!
Did you know that each racer has to carry 2 lbs. of dog food, for each dog? The rule is that they have to bring the same amount of food back with them. First I didn’t really get it, if they got hungry don’t they eat some of the food? Ms. Adams told me that the food was for emergencies only.
One of the cutest things I learn is that the racer checks the dog’s feet to see if they have cracks, if they do then they put ointment. Sometimes they even put booties on them when their paws are injured. The dogs look really small put it said in the book they are really powerful. Dusty a guy that did the Jr.Iditarod said that when he was pulling to get to the starting line he had to lift the dog front legs if he let the dog on both of their legs they would drag him. That’s how powerful they are.
All the racers have check points. It’s really helpful to the racers because they would know that their heading the right way. In the book it said that some people got lots when they were doing the Iditarod race. Another reason why checkpoints are helpful, is if racers are not at the checkpoint some people go out and find them if their lost, if they are stranded, or if their injured. That’s why it’s really important to have checkpoints.
Hope you enjoyed my essay and learned a lot about the adult Iditarod and the Jr. Iditarod.

Dear Parents,
I really want to talk to you about what I really want for my birthday up that is coming on April 18th. You know how much my siblings ask on their birthday I want something small and that doesn't cost a lot. I want a Dork Diary Book; it’s a book that everyone has and it’s like the Diary of the Wimpy Kid but in girl version. It is a really cool book. Please buy it! I really want it, my whole life I wanted it but I never got it. If it’s not cheap(and costs a lot) I will help you pay half of it, if I help pay then you will have some extra money to pay bills, buy food, and you can also do something for your self.
If you guys don’t buy me a book I will cry because everyone in my school has one. If you ask me to do something I will do anything to help, and get a book I will make my bed, clean my room, do the dishes and also clean the yard. I will try my best to never fight my siblings and read to my baby sister a bed time story everyday. Valeria (my baby sister will cry if she doesn’t hear a story and you know that I mean by cry.) She is a little girl that needs to clear her mind of scary things and a sweet story will help her get her mind out of it. See not only I need the book but my siblings do.
Please buy it I really want you to buy it, I have on more important reason if I don’t get a book how am I going to do my reading logs for school. I will be the only one that will not bring my reading log, there are books in the class room but I see that everyone has a Dork Diary Book. I think that everyone knows that books keep you from turning on the TV, your going to be busy on the book then one the TV and on your cell phones. If I get it I will have something to do and I want be bored all the time.
Hope you buy it for me one reason I really want it and another it’s almost my birthday. Please buy it, because I am thankful to people and to you, my parents.
Love,
Brianna Sahagun

One freezing night Otto and I headed out to our new house. It got me tired moving side by side on the way. My bottom hurt, but when I saw a hill I felt my whole life was gone when we went over it. I felt like I was going to die.
It was about to become winter and I had no food. My stomach was growling with hunger and we wouldn’t find the way to our new home. So I tried to look for food but there was no place to look. I was getting tired so I went to sleep in the wagon. Otto came in too. We slept all night, it was morning we heard a noise. We ran outside, Otto and I saw another wagon coming this way. When they stopped they told us if we were lost, I told them we were. I knew not to open the box because it wasn’t the worst it was just bad. Otto wanted to take responsibility and he wanted to find the way home. Even though things got bad they never got to their worst.
The lady in the wagon had food and she gave us some, Otto finally found the way to our house. We were so happy we started building right away. We used some bricks to build the house, as we were building the house we heard a rumbling sound, it was the house. It was burning down. I thought of the box that Spencer gave me; however I felt that it would help me get more supplies. As I was going to open the box it was empty. I didn’t know what do. I was crying and I thought everything was gone for good. I was waiting to see what Otto would say. Just when I told him, he found some wood and I was so happy that we had wood to build another house. We started building right away again. In a few more months Otto died and so did Spencer. We knew the box would give us hope, we were really sad but we got over it. We were a really happy family even though Spencer and Otto died.

Dear Alyssa, September 16, 1620
Hi Alyssa, How are you doing? I miss you and my other friends. Today Mikailah and I are passengers on the Mayflowers. You wont believe how many storms we have had. The last one was the worst the waves were so big it took Mikailah overboard. I lost it when she was over board, I fell to my knees and I started to cry. Just than when I thought my whole life was gone. The sailors jumped into action! One sailor got a rope the other sailor got her out of the sea. I am so glad she was back, one time another person got swept over board. Lucky for him there was a rope besides him and he pulled him self-right out.
One day a storm was coming and the sailor send Mikailah, me and all the other passenger down below deck. It was very crowded below deck. Luckily Mikailah and I got a little place in out of the cold damp. Some had to stay in the ship small workboat. Also the food they gave us each day was so nasty! I got sick just smelling that food. Even though this trip is getting hard, I know everything is going to be all right.
Love,
Brianna
****2 months later**** November 21,1620
Dear Alyssa,
Hi again, someone just said, “land ahead!” We didn’t believe it then another person said “land ho” so everyone ran to the land everyone dropped to their knees as a sailor said prayers. After everyone was done Mikaliah and me hugged and cried with terries of joy. We ran to a lake and washed our clothes. We made a settlement and it is beautiful. Maybe one day you can come and visit.
Love,
Brianna

Do you know some of Ben Franklin’s big Idea’s? If you don’t then, I am going to tell you a few?I think you are really going to enjoy the essay! Did you know that Ben Franklin publish an almanac in 1733? He called it the Poor Richard’s Almanac. It included when the sun comes up, when the moon was full, when it was good to plant, also when the holidays. It's a very useful resource.
Ben Franklin wanted to prove that lighting and electricity were the same thing. He got an iron rod and knocked himself unconscious. He invented the lightning rod, he put them in houses so lightning will attract the rod instead of the barn. So he proved it. Mr. Franklin went to France in 1776 to talk to the French into fighting on our side against England in the war because France and England were not friends at all. So the revolutionary war happened, and we won. Benjamin Franklin died in April 17,1790. Even though he died he will always be remember forever.
The End!!!
