I’m going to start off with my first element and that’s Helium. I choose Helium because I think Helium is interesting. Helium’s symbol is HE and the atomic number is 2 the melting point is 4.002602 the boiling point is -268.6°C. Helium is colorless. Sir William Ramsey discovered Helium in 1895. Helium was formed though the radioactive decay Uranium and Thorium. Helium is also used in cryogenics
Now im going to tell you about my second element and that’s Nitrogen. I choose Nitrogen because it IS made out of ice cream and I love ice cream. Nitrogen’s symbol is N the atomic number is 7 the melting point is -209.9°C the boiling point is -195.8°C. Nitrogen is colorless Daniel Rutherford in 1772.
My Third element is Neon. I choose Neon because I heard that we used it for the open signs in barber shops and that if u turned it on it would stay on for years until it burns out. Neon’s symbol is NE the atomic number is 10 the melting point is-284.6°C the boiling point is-246.1°C Neon is colorless. Sir William Ramsay discovered Neon in 1898
I hope you learned from this and you think of doing it to!

It was a warm sunny day and everyone was out and about swimming, riding bikes, walking down the street and other things. It was Derek’s birthday and Bolivia wanted to plan a party for him but she had to find out what to do. She thought and thought about it and she knew he wanted something BIG so she thought maybe it could be at the biggest the most ELIGENT hotel in town. It was called The Wynn Hotel it is so beautiful. She thought to herself he would love it! So the next day she started planning and it was going to be huge. I will invite everyone to the party there will be food and dancing and swimming everyone will have a fantastic time!
3 days later she had finish planning Derek's party but Derek started getting a little suspicious and wanted to know what was going on. When ever he would ask what was going on she would say we are planning a surprise party for rory (but not really) it’s his graduation from 5th grade! And he thought everyone forgot about his birthday. Soon came time for Derek’s party. Everyone but Derek got up and went to the hotel to start putting up decorations for the party. Derek was very sad because he thought his friends and family forgot about his birthday. He woke up and found a note on the fridge we are setting up for the graduation so be ready at 1:00 for the party. Derek started getting ready. He noticed that they took lucette to, “Well that’s weird”, he said.
He arrived it was dark and he was about to turn on the light but then he heard surprise and then he knew that everyone that tricked him he ate the cake, and opened the presents and everyone had a nice time just like Bolivia said they would.
ONE YEAR LATER
Rory: did everyone forget about my birthday?

Ididarod Dream

Hello my name is Desiree let me ask you a question did you know about something called the Iditarod dream? If not I’m going to tell you about it. Well the Iditarod takes place around Mount McKinley. Mount McKinley is very beautiful. Mount McKinley is located in Alaska. Read on for more information!
Well to start off you have to know how the racers and dogs are protected. The racers have to make sure the dogs are ok and safe. Before a racer can go to sleep he must check to see if a dog has cracks on his/her feet then he must help them. He can help him/her by putting botties on them. For example if one of the dogs gets cracks on his/her feet they put botties on them and it helps them run (like running shoes). Racers must have 2 lbs. of food per dog. If not, they won’t have enough food for the dog and then they won’t get to the finish line.
The racers need to dress warm or else they will get very cold. Also there are check points. The check points are to make sure that the racers are not taking short cuts or cheating. Another reason is to keep the racers safe. Racers must an eye on snowmobile because they don’t want to run in to them because they could get hurt.

Why I want a new computer
Dedicated to my mom
Hello my name is Desiree and I will be begging my mom to get me a new computer. The first main argument a good reason to get a new computer is because I could catch up on blogs. If I don’t get them turned in I would get a bad grade. If I do turn them in I would get a better grade.
If we get a computer my mom would be able to get the stuff that she needs done also. I would also be able to study on mrs.frietas, mrs.flores, and mr.gardners website. They only cost 329.99 they will be supplied by best buy. The name of it is an inpiron duo this computer is amazing!
Yours always,
Desiree P.

Hattie’s birthday box
There once lived a happy family. Their daughter the age of 16 was getting married to a man named Otto. Otto and Hattie decided to move to Nebraska to start a family.
One day while they were stopping to feed the horses one of the horses got scared and ran over Otto. Hattie stopped the carriage and then jumped out to help Otto. She struggled trying to put Otto in the carriage for a few seconds and then got him in. Next she raced all the way to the hospital then finally got there and the doctor said he had so bad news Otto died.
The doctor came out and said it would be $20 but Hattie did not have any money left. Hattie was thinking and had an idea. She thought of the box in the carriage and retrieved it. She was about to open it but the neighbor came to see him but it was to late and they said they would pay for it and not to worry and she said ok. Then Hattie got a call from her mom and she said it was spenders 100th birthday party so Hattie said she was coming she got at the airport and in a few hours Hattie was at her old house she could see inside the house all the people and she opened the door everyone was quiet “Spencer is that you” spenders granddaughter was poking him in the arm saying “granddaddy granddaddy its Hattie” Spencer turned around slowly to meet his marker and they both were happy and they lived happily ever after

Did you know Ben Franklin had some big ideas? Now I’m going to explain some of them to you, I think you will really enjoy this essay.
Did you know that Ben Franklin published his own almanac in 1733? In a few years Franklin was selling 10,000 copies of his almanac every year. The name was poor Richards’ almanac and he kept selling them for 25 years.
Ben Franklin was 40 years old when he got his big idea. Ben Franklin wanted to prove that lighting and electrity were the same.
Mr. Franklin went to France and talked them into helping the United States in the revolutionary war.
Now I have told you what Ben Franklin's big ideas were.

It first was land then one day a terrible storm came the purple clouds and lots of water and flashing lighting roiled and boomed above the land. Rain gushed from the purple clouds.
The storm stopped and the sun bathed the land in the winter moss and ferns and grass and trees grew. The land became a lake with blues green water so was called “Lake Okeechobee” then as months, years past the blue green water started to dry up and turned it to land.
One of the children asked tell us a happy story. So the man said don’t worry soon the grass, water, plants and animals came back and it was like new one of the children said take us home so we can grow up.
