Tucker's Blog

Previous Geometry
This blog is for Miss Jovanovich's algebra and geometry classes to share ideas, ask questions, and reflect on what skills and topics we are studying. If we are lucky, we might even get a chance to connect with other students studying the same stuff.

Conditions of Use

Constructions A construction is a figure or length to be made with the restricted use of only a straightedge and compass. My favorite construction is to copy a line segment because it is simple and doesn't take a very long time. To do this construction all you need to do is place the pointed end of the compass on one side of the line and the pencil part on the other. You then mark a point anywhere and place the point of the compass on that point. Where the pencil lands will be the other end point of your copied line.
