Previous Geometry

This blog is for Miss Jovanovich's algebra and geometry classes to share ideas, ask questions, and reflect on what skills and topics we are studying. If we are lucky, we might even get a chance to connect with other students studying the same stuff.

Hello blog readers! The past few geometry classes we've been discussing and learning about proofs. When I first heard that we were going to be doing writing in a math class I thought it was a joke. The more I learned about it the more I understood exactly why we were learning about them. I always go to the good old architect analogy. Nobody would let an architect build a bridge if they just said to take their word for it that it can hold the thousands of pounds it'll have to hold; you need to show and "prove" how it will hold it.
