One question that I have for the final is on right triangle trigonometry and the law of sines. I'm not sure what to do when it is an ambiguous case.

This week, we learned about Sin, cosine and tangent. There is an easy way to remember their ratios; SOH CAH TOA. It is very useful when trying to remember which ratios are which.

This week in geometry, we looked at special right triangle patterns. They make it more simple to find the sides of triangles. There is no good way to remember them so I'm going to have to remember them.

This week in geometry, we have been talking about the pythagorean theorem. I've done this multiple times so it comes very easy to me. I should have no trouble with it.

This week in geometry, we talked a little bit more about radicals. I enjoy them becuase we are working with the same thing in algebra 2 so this is much simpler than what I am doing in that class.

This week, we had a test on quadrilaterals. I guess I'm not too good at quadrilaterals and maybe the fact that I missed 2 days didn't help.

This week in geometry, we finished our lines in triangles project. I liked this project a little more than the other projects. I had medians, which I think was the easiest out of all of the lines. The median is the line that connects one vertex to the midpoint on the opposite side.

This week in geometry, we took another quiz! I felt good again about this quiz and am still awaiting my grade. I like mixing algebra in with geometry because I am good at algebra and I don't mind doing it. This section has a lot of algebra in things like the coordinate proofs. I don't mind those either. I still like the table proofs the best though.

This week, we had to look up scratch projects and select our favorite one. My favorite was the angry birds project. I love the game angry birds and it was funny to see someone try to remake it. It played just like angry birds, but only had two levels.

This week in geometry, I finished up my golf project with Jackson. We went to his house on Monday and worked on the project. Doing this golf project was fun because both of us golf, and it was fun to use golf products and build a bunker on our golf course.

This week in geometry, we have to talk about how we are going to study for the geometry midterm. I am going to look over my tests, and try all of the problems again. If I don't understand something, I will review it. I am also going to look over all of the postulates, theorems and other definitions.

This week in geometry, we received our tests back. I did well on the test and I am happy with my grade. I made a few careless mistakes here and there, but they didn't effect my grade too much. We also learned flow proofs. I don't like them as much as table proofs and I am still a little confused by them.

This week in geometry, I got my proof quiz back and we went over polygons. On my proof quiz, I did really well and I now feel confident with my proofs. Polygons were a little confusing at first, especially with the exterior and interior angles. But I feel like I am definitely learing more about them.

This week off from school has been great! Both of my brothers came home from college for a few days and it was nice to be together as a family. The Thanksgiving food was delicious as always. It was nice to get a break and I'm looking forward to Christmas break in a few weeks.

My favorite type of of angle pairs is supplementary angles. I like them because I know that I can find the measure of an angle if I can find its supplement. One thing I use to remember this angle pair is if you have one angle, then the other angle will SUPPLY the rest of the STRAIGHT LINE.

Constructions

Constructions are copying angles and lines and finding bisectors and perpendicular lines using a compass and straight edge. My favorite type of construction is copying line segments. I like it because it is the quickest and easiest. To copy a line segment, take out your compass. Draw a line then take the compass and open it to match the length of the original line. Then, using the same measurment, put one end of the compass on a point on the other line. Then make an ark using the compass. Where the ark and line meets, you make a point and you have copied the line.
