Mysterious fog?

I stood there,

I felt as if someone was right there,

breathing on my neck,

I started running,

hoping the fog would end,

using my hands to guide me,

I fell,

I heard voices,

they felt as if they were hitting me,

they got threatening,

I woke up,

it was just a dream.

What is fog like?

The fog was misty,

confusing with a dangerous lace floating,

plain,

surrounded by whispers,

locked in a room,

there where no walls,

restrained by the shadows,

surrounded by free apologies,

followed by nothing.

Fog

fog is surrounding,

being locked up with no walls,

restrained from the outside world,

free to the shadows,

wrapped in lace,

whispers hit your face,

plain and dangerous.

Rolling across the raging sea

Drifting through unsettled forests

Concealing everything in its way

Light

Attempting to enter this dismal silent world

Vain endeavors are ceased

Light cannot exist here

Only fog

Dense

Overpowering

Pessimistic

Fog

New day

New attitude

New fog approaches

Dazzling

Exquisite

Non-existent

Fog

Lost in a world of blurred thoughts

Questions float aimlessly

Answers are scarce

Unable to think

What is the point in thinking though

When I am content to watch the world

passing by

As if a veil separates me from life

I live without life

Understanding seems irrelevant

As the fog passes

Everything is clear

I understand

Fog is like

Fog is like a diving plane

Twisting, turning, changing shape

Then Crash into our eyes, like a train,

Wearing a wispy, full-body cape.

With its big, gaping mane

It swallows light and dark alike,

Sometimes it seems totally insane

For it knocks the air out of your lungs as it strikes.

Fog is like a deep power nap

It awakes, then rests back into its place

Just like a deadly booby trap.

And you shall always lose the race

No matter how hastily you run

For fog is faster yet, it has already won.

I wake up and see the stillness of the fog.

It sits like an empty hole waiting for the whistling air to arrive.

In the dusk there are layers of fog twisting, lashing and veering.

This is how I know that gray suffused clouds are coming.

Fog

Fog is empty

Fog is fun

Fog has plenty

Fog has none

Fog to me

Fog to me is like waking up

at 7:00am

on the first day of school or

any other day of school

because I feel so warn out and exhausted

and my eyes are closed shut even when I am wide

awake because of

my tiredness.

Hazy Minds PJCH

Fog is like trying to remember something

Your mind becomes hazy and hard to think

Your so concentrated you cant even hear a 'PING'

If you know what I mean, you can make this link

Fog clears your mind and reassures you that everything is okay

If you're feeling down, and there's fog outside just take a trip down to the bay

This will help clear your mind

And total peace is what you will find

skims over the sea

with no direction

no where no go

just moving around

it's misty and cold

soft and scary

THE EMOTIONS OF FOG

Fog is anger, fog is fear, fog is the sadness of not being steered.

Fog is excitement, fog is guilt, the kind that others have built.

Fog is revenge, fog is power, fog is loneliness, and they all leave us sour.

Fog is happiness, fog is togetherness, in the way they cover our fears.

Fog is a story that has no end, fog is the cover of a book not read.

What Fog Means To Me

Fog is like when I'm going as quick as I can

through a single-track,

I've never ridden ever!

Thin wispy fog is like

when I fall in my own bicycle-track,

for no apparent reason.

Whiteout fog is like when my parents yell at me to stop

right before

I'm about to do an outrageous stunt.

Fog

Fog hangs from the tree tops

Its like a bag of sugar bursting

Like water in a cup

Droplets of laughter, giggling out of the mist

With shallow pools of color

Layers of gauze float over the paper

It gives an air of mystery

Fog is an illusion

A master of disguise

Throughout the Storm

the fog is blinding

the lighting strikes

but I am finding

one thing I like

is when it's warm

it smells like sea

the perfect form

clouds close to me

this fog is thick

yet in my view

the fog that licks

the ground like dew

Fog

Fog is like silvery shadows, dancing gracefully in the night,

Fog is like waking up early on a weekend morning, late in the month of May,

Fog is like a mask, covering the light,

Fog is like a fierce lion, stalking its prey,

Fog is like a lime green snake, slithering out of sight,

lurching across the ocean blue,

swallowing up the boats as they rolls in,

tiptoeing silently without giving a clue,

as to where it will end, and become thin,

escaping from the past,

just as silently as it came in.

Fog

Fog is tanigible

Wrapping itself around everything

Like a vine twisting

Round a tree

Fog is uncatchable

Fading out of sight

The closer you step

The father away

You'll be

Fog is sluggish

It never leaves sight

Like thunder rolling

Slowly coming

Slowly

Going

Fog is speed

It comes like lightning

Trees obey and bend with it

Like lightning flashes

It vanishes

Fog is light

Harmless as a leaf

Falling, turning, twisting

Touching nothing

But the ground

Fog is heavy

Hard as a stone

It blinds the roaming clouds

And stops life in its tracks

Fog is sweet

Concealing frighted spirits

Carrying rain and sunshine

Joyful as it wanders

Fog is salty

Briny, like the sea

Ships lost in the fog's will

A silent storm

Riding on a winds'

Whisper

Fog is calm

Gliding like a swan

Wishing life a good night's sleep

A silent song

Fog is wild

Screaming sounds of alarm

A sleepless dawn

Racing towards the stars

Fog is an eerie shroud of mist

closing in around you.

Fog is a thick blanket,

covering the morning dew

Fog is a silent predator,

Carefully stalking its prey.

Fog isolates you,

Makes you alone,

And before long you are swept away.

~HSJO~

Birds chirp, a wake up call

To a world bathed in sunshine

A perfect day, buzzing with excitement.

The grass is green, trees swaying in the breeze,

Then the fog comes in.

Creeping slowly, not making a sound

Slowly, little by little, all goes quiet.

Birds cease to talk, and all of a sudden, the fog has arrived,

Without anyone noticing.

But the eerie silence, in a way, is just as beautiful as before

Poems of Fog

Still and Silent

Fog is mist rolling above you

as it has a deep,

empty thought

that steams,

so still

so silent.

Embracing the Clear

Fog is hanging over the treetops

then bursting like water

as the silver water

embraces the clear morning light.

Waiting to Disappear

Fog is what hangs over the willow trees

waiting to disappear by the morning light

Fog is what rolls around

the sunset of summer

Fog is what sweeps threw the town

like a shadow of night

The Mystery

Fog is like a mystery,

trying to find something you can't see

Fog is when you glide across the ice

getting faster,

where the snowflakes shine.

Surroundings

The fog encases me,

colors all dimmed,

shallow pools of color,

vanished,

behind the wave of gray,

it conjures eeriness within itself,

we become partially blind,

the essence of rain,

it becomes overly suffocating,

so much distortion,

where am I now,

in the worst,

it hisses and rears,

this cobalt gray,

will hang,

in the treetops,

seep deep into the ground,

this fog in a final attempt,

has lashed out,

so far at me,

it's deception is deep,

but I am willing,

willing to lose myself,

beyond belief.

The Darkness

The fog,

is so dense,

too dense,

I can't take it anymore,

the darkness,

has returned,

I know,

that this time,

I wont be able to withstand it,

but this,

is what I want,

I want to go,

where no one,

will know,

all,

the unknown,

secrets.

Drifty Fog

See the fog again and again,

Please help me it wont get out of my head.

When the sun rises up it blinds me,

After a while, The fog drifts in slowly

Fog os like a blanket,

It covers the ground,

Only without any sound

Slightly Smooth Fog

Smoothly on the surface of the ground,

The fog sweeps in without a sound.

It moves gently through the air,

Like little people dancing everywhere.

I can't see my feet,

Is this a dream?

I think im gonna go crazy if this lasts.

Now i can't believe the fog is gone,

I wonder where it went?

It came so fat and left so fast,

So now i think im depressed.......

Fog Poems

Fog

Creepy, scary. Lost.

Stalking, mocking, humming. Lost.

Shadows, darting. Lost.

Haunches, shatters, slithers. Lost.

Dwellers, stalkers. Lost.

Musing, giggling, prow. Lost

Lashing, lunging. Lost

Fog

Fog is...

Fog is like when you are running,

You can see everything and yet nothing.

Everything goes by fast and yet slow.

You can hear everything and yet nothing but your heartbeat.

You feel the wind whipping through your hair and yet you feel nothing.

You taste the mist rushing through you lungs and yet you taste nothing.

Everything is black and white and yet everything is bright.

You are harmless and yet you are lethal.

You feel as light as the air yet you know you are not.

You run to get away and yet you run to something else.

Fog is like when you are running.

Fog mixes with lights.

We won't take that I can't see.

Twisted sister rocks.

I wanna rock hard,

But no, I can't see.

But I will Anyway.

Turn it down, you say,

but I can't, cause fog's in the way.

That's good, now lets rock.

Hey, this is our life,

But the fog clouds the whole song.

But I wanna rock.

The dark light starts off,

The drums shrouded by fog

Twisted sister rocks.

Fog

The fog sails into the dreary night

It's chilling sensation flailing around

Droplets of misery in the air

The humming shadows like hot breath

Drifting aimlessly towards nothing

Nothing is Clear

Fog comes here

Fog comes there

Now the fog is near

Nothing is clear

Fog is like an enemy

Waiting to approach when your not looking

Then it attacks

It stalks you from afar

One blink and it is here

It is an army hiding in the distance

You don't know when it is coming

No one does

Fog is here

Fog is there

Now the fog is near

Nothing is clear

On a silent spring day,

in a walled graveyard,

lined with black roses,

I lay in the soft, lush grass.

No one knew I was there,

therefore,

there was no one to wake me.

Still in my dreams,

my eyes were opened,

but not by me.

It seemed I was stuck in one spot,

barely able to move,

surrounded by chokingly thick fog,

or so I thought.

Suddenly the fog diverted,

swirling faces of fog,

dancing in the wind,

chanting,

“you shall not escape,

you shall not bear to escape.”

screeching, screaming,

“here is the wall,

between life and death,

soon you will be trapped,

then nothing comes next.”

To me it seemed,

the ghosts of the fog,

were trapped in their past,

lost in the future.

“you must learn,

to accept the future,

as it is.

You also must release me,

for I have a life to get back to,

and you don't.”

Slip

It was humid that spring,

out on that icy little bridge,

In choking of mist,

the day that I slipped.

Almost falling forever,

until something I grabbed,

seized the sensation of nothingness,

with the falling,

and the scaryness.

My hands were so cold,

at the beginning of spring,

for winter just passed,

the birds started to sing.

Around my head they went,

those pretty little birds,

which were the last thing I saw,

and the last thing I heard.

Fog

What is fog?

Fog creeps in, silently

smothering trees and water with mist

In the morning, when the suns' up,

It shows in golden yellow and warm sunshine

wile its cloudy, creepy and spooky,

gray fog that seems relaxing and peaceful

On the beach, fog is like the ocean itself,

salty and breezy, making it fun to play in

In the harbor, early in the morning,

when the gentle wind makes the bells on the sailboats

make an eerie tune wile the seagulls chatter in the sail tops

Fog covers fields with a thick blanket of white,

when you can't see in front of you

Fog covers the farms in sheets and layers

you can't see the horses in the pasture

or the cows in the barn

or the chickens in the coop

Fog is like darkness and light

You can relax in the mist beside the peaceful lake

or you can worry that little Johnny

won't find is way home in time for dinner

What is fog?

Deludes me so

It likes to slither through my mind

Hiding thoughts I wish to find

I try to get up

Out of bed

Fog, a sheet of endless gray

You see it barreling toward you

You stay as the fog careens you closer

You try to run but you it corners you

Now you have disappeared

Can you be saved?

The fog has now passed he waves goodbye

His gas floats away

You will see him again one day

You could hear the stillness in the air

As the storm came closer

And then you heard the crack

That could shatter a piece of glass

And then the fog was gone.

Hiding

Fog is my darkness,

It lets me hide from life.

takes the burden of the day of my shoulders,

and throws it far, far away.

It blankets me with its husky warmth.

wipes away the tears rolling down my face.

the tears of regret and sorrow,

the tears of others.

no one will see me,

the fog is to thick to pass.

but the crying stops.

and blackness cuts through my mind like a blade.

I turn down and drift away with the fog,

just like the rest have.

The stillness of the fog

slowly creeping

up upon the

tree tops.

The moaning of the

buoys bustling

in the

sea.

The haziness of the

forests floors,

and the

water vapor hovering

over the water,

shortly

spraying a loon that

has passed by.

A sky so

dark

with the backdrop of the

trees, so gloomy and

mysterious,

slowly

mixing in with the

mustiness of

the fog.

The mildew on the grass

that sits on the settled

slits of greens after

a long foggy

night.

The cold air jumps around

the sky like a dancer,

dancing in the

night.

The fog is so thick, that

the twinkling of

the stars are

hidden,

like rocks below the water.

The sea glimmers in the

night, then glows

when dawn hits.

The moon is full

tonight, but is

hidden by the

fog and the

the trees.

The

fog thickens, drowning out the sound

that the little creatures of the forests

makes. The sun is creeping up,

leaving a sympathetic

reflection on the

water, and

the

Branches, high

up in the

trees.

New England

Factory so clogged

earlier it was so clear

now it is only clear so near

Clouds lie so low

nobody can even know

Air so soaked

Air so misty

It just looks so gloomy

Wait now its far

I can barely see a car

Clouds fly away

While the winds sway

I see the sun comes out

While the flowers begin to sprout

I see kids playing in the park

All the dogs begin to bark

Kids playing basketball

Kids playing baseball

Pitcher sets the mound

Sun comes down

Park gates close

All the kids say, “That blows”

The Kids go have dinner

Nobody knows who's the winner

The Big Bad Bunny

“Good night Mom, good night Dad.” I said as I walked up the stairs. I jumped into my bed, pulled up the covers, and listened to the sounds of the ocean as I fell asleep. Then came the night. . . “No, get away from me!” I screamed trying to get away from something, what ever it was I knew it wasn't good. While thrashing around I couldn't make out the creature, but then I saw it, a huge 7 foot tall purple bunny! The bunny had scars all over him, but worst of all the bunny had a chain saw raised above his head. Then came the noise “runnananana, moohahahaha” this was the last thing I heard. “Ahhhhhhhhhhh!” When I woke I was sitting in bed screaming. My only advice to you is if you see a big purple bunny, Run.

Going sky Diving

I have always wanted to go skydiving.

Taking that one risky leap could be the end.

But feeling the wind rush past as you float down to earth with nothing on your back but a parachute.

Now it's time to pull the chute, i give it a hard yank. . . nothing happens. . . I pull hard again but it;s to late I am falling to the ground.

Now I am falling knowing I won't see tomorrow.

But I don't hit the ground.

Luckily it was only a dream.

Now I am falling knowing I won't see tomorrow.

But I don't hit the ground.

Luckily it was only a dream.

The Hammock

At my vacation house in Maine there is a hammock on a ledge. When I am in it I feel very peaceful and relaxed. I can see the sparkling ocean, and boats gracefully gliding across the shiny surface. I hear the smaller children playing on the beach and the loud diesel engines of bustling lobster boats. Smells, I smell the pine trees that surround me, and the wonderful, yet kind of gross, smell of the ocean and the things that surround it. I can feel the rough rope of the hammock on my legs and head. These are all of the things I love because I know they mean it”s summer

One summer day there was a girl named Paula and a boy named Bernard, they were 12 year old twins at there dad’s house for the weekend. Bernard was play video games and his sister Paula was with her friend outside playing. Then her friend had to go home so Paula came in to tell Bernard.

She came in with a mini pine cone and threw it at Bernard, but she missed and Bernard laughed at her. Paula ran outside. On her way out, she smashed her left hand ring finger, it was split open, and her hand was all bloody. Bernard heard a big bang and a shriek. He paused his game and ran outside to see what happened.

He saw his sister sprinting to his Dad that was mowing the lawn. He saw her crying. He turned off the lawn mower and jumped off to see why see was crying. She showed him her finger and there was a pool of blood in her hand. They ran inside to call a doctor to see what to do.

Paula’s friend ran back to her house to get Paula’s iPod touch for her and when she got back she told Paula that she had to go home.

The doctor said to go to the emergency room and she might have to get stitches. So Paula and their dad went to the hospital. Bernard stayed home alone.

They were gone for about three hours. When they got back they all had to get ready to go to their mom’s house because they had to go to a funeral. They drove to there Mom’s house. That night Paula had to take medicine that made her sleepy and made her finger feel better. The next day they went to the funeral and Paula’s finger was hurting her so she took medicine. When they got there they saw there cousins and told them what happened.

So that was one of the most scary summer stories. Later in the year they moved to a new town with there Mom, Paula’s finger got better, and Bernard played football and won the championship with an undefeated season. He also played in the championship sick.

Have you ever ruined something, let everything slip away, let everyone down, all in 5 seconds? You dribble up the field, precious seconds left in the game. You pass by players on the other team, desperately  trying to stop you. All your fans are thinking, "She can do it", "She's got this", or, "She's going to win us the game!" The nerves building up on you with every stride. And with 5 seconds left, you kick it with all you've got, not realizing that you overshot. Not realizing that this is it. Not realizing that you let everyone you know & love down, all in 5 seconds.

I grip the cone and start to lick. The creamy goodness melts to the touch of my tongue sliding down my throat the cone drips to my fingertips. I gulp quickly, liking rapidly my brain hurts, but I don’t want to lose my frozen treat. Embracing the pain I swallow and pressing my numb pink tongue to the roof of my mouth. The pain runs from my brain down my cheeks, and its gone. Its true love hurts, but my love for ice cream will never go away.

I've always wanted to be a Marine Biologist. I love the ocean and everything in it. I went to Seacoast Science Camp, tide pooling and I enjoy observing underwater creatures. I haven't been able to have a lot of chance to figure out what I want to be, although I want to work with marine wildlife. Being in the ocean or helping an animals would be a great experience. What I think of the ocean is more authentic than anyone else.

As you walk on stage with pride you freeze,

And look back at the one who's smiling and shewing you on,

They wish you good luck and and smile,

They announce your name, and you walk on stage,

The spotlight goes on,

You look back at that one person and they say,

It's your time to shine.

The warm, golden sunshine poured down onto the glistening blue water, and the pure white sand. A few people were scattered along the beach, soaking up the sunshine. The clear water felt cool against my skin, while the rays of sunshine baked my shoulders. I waded deeper into the the smell of salt filling my nose. my eyes stung I ducked into the water. Young turtles poked their heads out of the water, making small ripples as they submerged back under the water. The sky was cloudless, and the seen in front of me was picturesque. All I wanted to do was stay in that moment forever.

My worst injury happened when I was around 5 years old. I was in an Italian restaurant in New York City. I got up to go to the bathroom with my mom and sister. On the way up the stairs, I tripped and fell face first into a metal flowerpot, it sliced open my lip, and bruised my two front teeth. There was blood every where, and I was crying, "I have band aids!" because there were band aids in my pocket. I got in a car with my dad and uncle, and we drove to the hospital. In the hospital, they held me down and stitched my lip, me screaming the whole time.

The whistling wind whips through my hair, my legs, on fire, pedaling to catch my brother. He's fast as lightning and I feel slower than a turtle. He swipes corner to corner. On a sharp turn I didn't make it, falling rapidly to the ground. A wave of pain electrocutes my body as I hit the cold, hard, gravel floor. Closing my eyes tight I fell nothing but pain and see nothing but my dark lonely eyelids. I open one eye slowly and cautiously, then the other. My bikes front wheel is still spinning from the crash I just took. The rest of the bike weighing heavily on my body. Turning myself around I check for any signs of injury's. One bleeding leg and a couple of skid marks on my hands. The pain still piling in I push the bike off my body and get up, my whole body sore. I check my knee, the blood gushing out and the small grains of sand and rock stuck clearly states that I need a Band-Aid. I whip my hands on my worn out jeans and tug my bike off the ground. I get on it cautiously and right home slowly just glad nothings broken.

The beach. Calming, when you hear the sound of the waves against the sand. The silent riptides waiting to sweep an unfortunate swimmer to their death. Seagulls squawk at each other, fighting over food while the little sandpipers run along the edge of the water, not getting more than their feet wet. Calming, dangerous, natural. The beach.

It was the last minute of the game and all I was thinking was, "GOAL, GOAL, WIN!". The balls pasted to me and my hearts pounding with the adrenaline rush. Everyone is cheering, so I get nervous, of course. I pass the ball perfect pass. A player, on our team, takes the shot but the goalie saves it. The ball is out, "corner kick" says the referee. I line up with everyone else and the ball is kicked. Everyone's wild and it reminds me about apes in the jungle. The parents are the head apes. And I yell. "PASS, PASS, NOW!!!" She passes to me and everyone's silent, soI think of everything that can go wrong, typical me. 5 seconds left so I line the shot up, 2 seconds, AHHH, I shoot. GOAL! We win. The pressure all goes away. I run to my coach she says, "I wonder how you get through the day....BUT GREAT KICK! Soccer is fun, esspecially when you win and it's your goal!!

It was a gloomy Halloween night. The full moon was out which lit up our pathway. The wind and fog were eerie, and with the added affect of the wolves howling in the back round made me feel uneasy. I was only with a few of my friends and they felt the same way as I did, scared. This didn't help me feel good at all. It made me want to puke. The howling of the wolves, bright full moon, and fog rising made me even more scared. I was very uncomfortable now.

As we walk on the side of the road, I turn back to my friends to ask where we are. When I look I am astonished to see, no one's there. I don't know whether to panic, or to run, or scream.

Now it comes to my mind that they are just pulling a prank on me. So I start laughing, but when I turn around, that's not the case.

A black mass is standing right in front of me. It's like I'm dead now. I can't breath, scream, walk, talk, or anything. I have no clue what to do. It points up, to what I don't know. But, when I look in that direction, it's too hard to dread. My friends were hanged on one of the tall, large pine trees on the road. My heart was beating a thousand times faster than it should. Thoughts were speeding through my head on what to think of this. I realize, i have no hope left. After all all of what has just happened, I can wake up and know that i have a good life.

I walk through the fence door pass the micro park and into the street course. I glance to the right and see the monster ramp. It is called that because it has a big monster energy logo on it.By the the end of this session I will roll in on it with my fuzion. I start out on smaller things.

After I get warmed up, it's time. I climb the steps to the monster ramp. Peter is standing next to me my heart starts racing and I am pretty scared because it is about a 16 foot drop. I said to my self I have to go before peter. He nudges up to it then backs down here is my chance. The fuzion doesn’t clear so I have to pull up and jump forward. My wheels hit the ramp there is no turning back now. I hit the ramp and kind of bailed I was super siked that I landed it and did it twenty more times each time I got better and better. Second to my last run I pushed off but my scooter deck shifts to the left as I am going down. I try to straiten it up before I hit the transition but I am to late my left hip hits the ground then my head. I was stunned I stayed there for a little bit then got up and got ready to roll in again. That was one of my favorite things I have ever done at Rye airfield.

A situation 'believing is seeing' is that when you admire someone, like a famous person or maby just a person, you dont see any other perspective, or opinion but yours: "That person is amazing!" (example). When people tell you otherwise you defend your opinion because you support that person and really believe they`re a good human being.

Beliving in something can give you inspiration for things you cant even imagine. It opens your eyes to a completely different world that has so many opertunities. One huge benifit to believing in something is that you can see it mentally. You think of it everyday, and you can see it no matter if you`ve seen it for real or not, you know what it looks like so you can see it. When you do believe in somethinglike this, you cant imigine it anyother way.

"Subs!" Coach says to the ref, in her loudest most frightening voice. She tells me to go in. There are no spots left, but server. I go to the bottom right of the court, which is where the server stands. The ref blows the whistle, my face as red as it is on a cold winter day. I bounce the two times with my fist. Then I rest the ball on the plam of my hand to hit it. I take a deep breath, then hit it with my all. The ball goes over the net. Two of the people on the other team dove for the ball, one of them wanting it just as more as the other. They both miss! I am so proud of myself and so is my team! Mystery trip

I woke up excited and nervous, not knowing where my Dad was taking me on this trip. My Mom and sisters had left in a flash to the crowded New York City earlier this morning. So I was alone with my dad. Sadly we were not going there.

I jumped out of my bed and my dad says, “Hurry up we’ll be late for the plane.” So I quickly get my clothes on, get my suitcase, go down stairs through the door in the garage, then I jump into the car. He was already ready and we're off.

As we’re riding in the car I ask my dad the same question, “Where are we going”? But he keeps replying, “I don’t know”, obviously in a joking matter. Then he adds, did you remember to bring your bathing suit. I reply, “Yes”. So when we reached the airport, we get our luggage out from the back of the car, and we go through the long glass tunnel leading to the main part of the airport.

Once we are in the main part of the airport we walk to the main to the U.S Airway line. Most families were trying to get away for the long weekend. So the line was a reasonably long about a 10 minute wait. It was a Friday morning. Once we were through the luggage line and got our boarding passes we headed toward the security line. At that moment I was hoping we got there an hour in advance or we were doomed. So I looked ahead wondering what was holding up the line. Then in a glassed off area there was a guy getting clean checked by a wand.

I don't think anything of it because this always happens. Then a airport security guard walked toward the glassed off area and I could see his mouth moving but I couldn’t hear him. he took out the wand again to see if any metal was on him because they brought him through the gate and it keep beeping. But when they hand checked him they couldn’t find any thing. So they had to change they security gate.

A security guard had come up to the back of the line to tell what the wait was. Then once the gate was installed the line was moving pretty fast. Then Dad said our gate should be boarding any moment. Then of course the loud speaker came on and said gate B7 is now boarding. And Dad said what do you know that’s our gate. We took of our shoes and watches and my backpack and put it in the bin. We went through the now fixed gate got our stuff and ran for our gate. “Last call for B7” so we ran even faster. And our gate was at the end of the hall. We rounded the corner and saw no one but a flight attend tend.

So we ran even faster the thought that I didn’t know where we are going totally passed my mind. But on a electric board it read Nasa Bahamas. Then we gave our boarding passes to the attendant and boarded the plane. I thanked my dad as we walked down the hallway. And that's were i went on y mystery trip.

I walk through the old white door that I have seen a while ago. I'm shivering all over but I am still confident. “i can do it, just be yourself.” I said in my head. A women in a navy blue dress enters from a pitch black curtain and says “ its time for you to come in.” I freeze but finally a brainwave is sent to my legs to edge forward. I head through the same darkness as she did. There I am six eyes darting at my head. I scared, still manage to do my audition in success. My 30 minute manage ended perfectly. It was a great experience and I can't wait for the first practice.

Hibernation:

My house is my shield

It protects me from outside world danger

Like my cave that I spend my endless hibernation in

My winter sleep lasts much longer than a bear's does

I am always awake, just not fully there

I am detached from other people

Always in my house, shielded from the war zone beyond me

Spring:

As I slowly start waking up from my sleep

I become less distant

I put my shield down

I've slept through the war

The flowers are blooming

Spring has finally come. . .

I'm walking out to the mound, the pressure of the entire season is on me. All of the eyes of my parents, friends, friend's parents and towns people are fixed on me. All of them ready to perform, against the almost unstoppable Dodger team. Every step takes so much effort as I know, every time I put one foot in front of the other I'm just that much closer to the start of the game. I have finally made my way to the mound, with the umpire and my catcher waiting for me. Then the umpire hands me the ball, I have a quick chat with my catcher, and now it's game time. I'm so nervous but what's driving me to do well more than anything is my determination to win. Here goes nothing... I start the pitching motion and I fire in the first pitch for a strike. That one strike, fills with confidence.

First Swim

I run through the water trudging along

The cold water brisk against my toes

“Hurry up,” says the little voice in my head

She’s getting ahead of me. GO! GO!

The chill goes op along my spine

I come up from the water and shake it off

“Not so bad,” I say calmly to my chicken like sister

And she dives off ahead as I follow along behind her,

My board dragging behind me

I search for a wave

On the board I feel a bit unbalanced

As I swirl through the ocean

I look beside me

And there’s my sister

Not so chicken like anymore

Riding right beside me

We laugh until we are stopped by the rocky sand

“Again?” she says

I don’t say anything but she knows I agree

And we walk to our home

The ocean.

The brisk wind hits my face as my hair is wildly blowing. The smooth sand between my toes as I walk into the dark water. When I dive into a wave it pulls me down to the bottom. I pop my head up from the cold water; I feel a chill up my spine. My feet sink into the smooth sand again as I skip along the beach and see young kids playing in small tide pools. I lay comfortably on my towel and soak in the atmosphere.

Beep beep beep! My buzzer is going off. As I pull my hand out hit the snooze button and I drag my feet out of bed flop my feet hit the floor. My eyes can't even open up the whole way. I get dressed walk down the stairs my legs can't even bend. I feel the cold wood on the bottom of my feet, then I feel the rug warmth. As I hear the egg crack on the side of the pan. Then I hear the egg and bacon sizzling in the pan. The strong aroma of bacon I smell as I come down the stairs. Then I sit down and and take a bite into the bacon, yum. Then I take a sip of my fresh squeezed orange juice. Now I go up stairs to brush my teeth, I first wet my toothbrush, then squeeze the toothpaste onto my toothbrush, minty fresh into my mouth, ahh. My mom puts her key into the ignition and vroom vroom I drive off to school.

Christmas is such a great holiday. On of my favorites. My family has a special tradition that we do every year. When we wake up we have to wait for every single person to be awake. It is painful sometimes I have to wait for a hole 30 minutes which I think is painful. Then when every one is awake we go down stairs. When we go down stairs there is a string attached to our stockings that goes all around our house with presents that are unwrapped. After we go get our stuff out of our stockings we will open my mom and dads presents. When we are about half way through opening we will go and eat breakfast, then go open the rest of our presents. We enjoy the day with our family and then later that night we go to my grandparents house with my cousin and open their presents. That is a brief story of my Christmas day!

Going to Florida

“Dad, are we there yet?” I ask from the backseat of our car.

“Not yet,” Dad replies.

"When are we going to get there?”

"Not too long but we are going to go out to eat first and then go home.”

“Oh, I hate going out to eat first,” as I moan Ohhhhhh unhappily in my head.

“Well, what is the restaurant that we are going to called?” I ask my dad, as if I already did not know the name since we always go to the same one.

“BF Wangs,” he says.

“I don’t like that restaurant,” I tell him.

Dad says, “Well, we are already here.”

My dad and I are having this conversation in the car driving towards our condo in Florida. I hate going out to eat first because I just want to see the condo and go up to my room or go out to the dock and relax. We always go to this one restaurant, BF Wangs. It is my mom’s favorite so my dad and I just go along to make her happy.

“I’ll have chocolate milk, please.” I say to the waitress.

“Sure,” replies the waitress.

“I will have water, please.” Mom says to the waitress.

“I’ll have water, too,” says Dad.

“’Kay, be right back with those,” said the waitress as she left our booth.

We always sit at a booth because my mom and I love booths. We think that tables are not comfy and they are usually out in the open where everyone can hear us and see us.

“Thank you,” says my dad as the waitress comes back with our drinks.

“Now, are you guys ready to order?” asks the waitress.

I said, “I will have chicken fingers.”

“Ok and I’ll have dumplings,” says mom.

“I’ll have mahi mahi,” said dad.

After a good meal we got in the car and I thought to myself, “boy I’m excited that our condo is so close, only about 10 minutes away.” I began to think about my friends Olivia, Ellie, Brad and Jake and how we would fish and go to the lagoon together. I’m excited to get back to go to the pier, go on the boat and spend time with my family.

After unpacking everything at the condo – I get my towel, put on my bathing suit and run and jump into the pool!!!!

Dominic desperately wanted to be a world class mountain climber like his older brother. He won the last spot by finding a V which was what he needed to spell Everest.

I watched the waves break on the soft sand like a butterfly making it's perfect landing on a leaf. The beach is where I like to go and do homework or just think. I always sit on a certain rock that is gray with white and black speckles on it. The rock has a perfect indent that makes it very comfy to sit on. The deep blue mixed with a slight green and it's beautiful to look at. The sounds of the ocean comfort me and make me relax. The sound of the waves crashing down on the beach, like a bird diving down on it's helpless pray.

Its Snowing

Changing, swaying, turning, blowing

So much fun not even knowing.

Twisting, tumbling, winding, fleeing

Soon enough it's time for skiing.

Floating, whirling, circling, glistening

Gather round the fire listening.

Sailing, swooping, plummeting, dancing

Through the snowy wonderland prancing.

Weaving, roaming, catching, clutch

It is softer when you touch.

See how fun the snow can be?

Come enjoy the snow with me!

The wind wisps through the field. The flowers sway back and forth. Which makes me wonder, How far does the wind blow? Does it carry on going from tree to tree? No one will know unless they follow it.

The wind is our worst enemy and our best friend. It gets you nice and cool on scorching hot summer days, but blows all the fallen leaves all over your lawn after you spent all that spare time raking them.

Enemies or best friends?

How far?

The wind gives you something to think about.

There is a part in this book where Elijah and his friend follow an old pair of snake tracks and this old town folk tells them that every year it gets loose and kills 10 people in the village. So that shows how he can be shy and scared.

Pure blue electric eyes gleamed out from the tall trees. Such a bright color they were. They sent chills through my pale, porcelain skin. The purity of them reminded me of a cool waterfall, that could only be found through the thick vines and palm trees of the Amazon. The owner of these lovely eyes began to show through the trees. A large lizard, it looked like with scales the same color as my skin. I flinched, it did the same. Was it as scared of me as I am of it?

“What are you?” I asked with a tone of curiosity lingering in my voice. “Je vous suis.” It spoke in a language, I believed is french. Why french?

“Vous etes un dragon.” It spoke as if I understood.

“What?” The lizard like creature began to fade away. I stared in shock.

“Wait!” I shouted wanting, no begging to know more.

Can you feel the music?

Do you like the beat?

Does music make you lose it?

Or get bored and take a seat?

Dance until I can't dance no more,

Sing until I can't,

Jump until I can't feel the floor,

Spin 'til I see at a slant.

I slip away into the beat,

and the music's in me.

I twirl and jump and move my feet,

I'm weightless and totally free.

My ears keep on ringing,

even after the music stops,

because the music had been blaring,

and there was no time to drop.

Can you feel the music?

Do you like the beat?

Does music make you lose it?

Or get bored and take a seat?

I suddenly awoke to find myself in a grassy field. I looked around a saw a vast ocean, sandy beaches, and strange creatures of all sorts. I walked over to sand and squished my toes in it. It felt great to be alive again. I ran into the ocean and felt the thrill of swimming again. I jumped out and ran down the beach. I jumped up on top of a rock and felt like I was king of the world. Then a strange creature walked up and said “you are king of the world”. The creature looked about 2 feet tall and had short claws. The creature was grey and had large eyes about the size of a tennis ball. I looked down and said “how did you know what I was thinking”. The creature said well us looglaps can read other creatures thoughts. I then asked “looglap what is your name”. The looglap said “Well my name is Greg walison”. I thought to myself why that name seems familiar. It does he said. I then said “this is going to be hard to get use too”. I asked Greg how many looglaps are there in the world.

Every October 31st this house randomly appears in a cloud of fog. The house is always completely obscured. When it appears it suddenly starts to rain. Then the moon becomes full and becomes as bright as the sun. The light shoots into the obscured house. It makes all the widows glow then they all crack! The glass comes flying at you, but it all halts to a stop. All the glass crashes to the ground. Then the rain stops and the fog disappear. Then all these blood thirsty black cats come sprinting towards you with blood red eyes. Then it seems like reality is not with you it seems time has stopped! Then rotten shriveled pumpkins come plummeting towards the ground and land on the cats then the whole thing goes into chaos!

Ghost come flying out of the house and hands pop up from the ground and grab you legs to pull you into the ground. Then they get sucked up into a tree. Dead bodies rise from the ground. Then the ghosts go into the dead bodies. They all come after you your only hope is to go into the house. You here nothing inside. As you walk around you see paintings. Then the paintings start to moan and groan. Then you realize they are all kids. The pictures say the year they died and there name. Then you realize all those kids have been missing. After that you try to open the door but it won’t open up. I ran up stairs to find another exit. There were seven doors. I opened the first one and there was a huge mouth. The tongue came flying at me. I slammed the door shut. I opened the second one and there was people screaming. I slowly shut the door. Thinking back these are the same kids in the picture. I ran to the third and opened it. It was pitch black. I put one foot in and it started to suck my foot in. I grabbed a torch from the wall. It was quicksand. I tried to pull away and I got out but my shoe had come off. I opened the fourth door. There where zombies! One of there heads fell off and rolled toward me I slammed that one too. I opened the fifth one. A hand came flying at my neck I used the torch and light it on fire. When it burned it disappeared. The sixth one I opened there where people being mindlessly slathered. I slammed the door. I can barley mention this without having nightmares. I opened the door and found a mirror but there was something different about me. I was headless. Then the mirror shattered. A blood river came flowing towards me. I ran down stairs and the door still did not open. I ran down the hall and found night armor. I took its sword a cut a hole in the house I ran outside. The bodies where still there. I started slicing through them. I got out of the place. I threw the torch at the house so no one else would have to go through what I did. I was the only one to escape this place. That was the end of that house. I never saw it again, but sometimes on my morning walk it seems like its still there.

Cleats dug into the fresh grass, blue jerseys were tucked in, and young faces waited for action. A whistle blew and the game began. Our team had the ball. I stand at my position, left forward, I feel butterflies in my stomach. I see the field in front of me like a valley of opportunity. I stand stiff and nervous. My heart beats fast but so does everyone else. The goes back to the midfielders and I run up with the rest of the offenders to receive the ball. The ball is passed , quick and high. I watch my teammates on the other side of the field. I hurry around to get open but the ball is switching from teams. The game is on and every one wants to win.

This following story is about the time I moved to Rye, NH. See, My mom works at a nursing home, and she met this guy named John. They got married, so John is my step dad, and when ever someone asks John how he met my mom, he says “I met her at a nursing home.” Any way, here’s the story.

I can’t really remember when I moved in with John. I know it was some time ago. But I remember my room was nothing more than a window, a spider plant, and a cot for a bed. There was also an oar in the corner. When I moved there, I also met Bradley, John’s Grandson. I haven’t seen him for a while, because his dad doesn’t want to drive half way for John to pick him up, ‘cause see, he lives pretty far away. But, back to the story. I remember I still used to go to my old school, which was heaven compared to my current school. Ohhh, I miss that school! I miss all the righteous friends I had too! But, now I’m at Rye Junior High, with ridiculous home work assignments, that I don’t even see as applicable, and John always freaks out when I fail to tell him info! And don’t even get me started on some of the people here! I mean really! But I live here, and nothing more.

Something I really wanted to do one fateful day was sit on the bed in my room and play Star Wars Battlefront 1. But, of course, like most of my hopes, dreams and fantasies, it was stepped on, squished, and scraped off of something as if it was an unimportant piece of nothing. All thanks to school, of all things.

See, the best time to be lazy and, free, in my terms, is on a sunny, or rainy, or snowy, heck, any time's a good time to play video games! But, I was in school at this time, so it was stepped on, squished, and scrapped off of something, as always.

I sit on an old black bench on a street corner in the middle of Nantucket town. I sit up to lick my peppermint ice cream so it doesn’t melt on this warm summer day. My hand is cozy warm against the hot homemade waffle cone made by the Juice Bar. The loud sound from the Cape Cod potato chip truck against the cobblestones catches my attention. The smell of the homemade ice cream and cones haunts me even though I have one right in my hand. Then, I am pulled back to real life with a loud honk of the ferry on the dock. I look over to see whats going on. Oh, its just the same as every time, tourists running on with there bags full with Nantucket souvenirs. The town is now quieter than usual. 4th of July weekend is over, leaving the people we know and love to play with.

Over the summer, at my lake house, I went sailing in our sail boat called the sun-fish. I was going alone for the first time and that day it happened to be very windy. I got in the sun-fish and started sailing to the middle of the lake. The wind was pushing the boat faster and faster and before i knew it i was almost on the far side of the lake. I turned and headed for the lily pads. On my way I almost capsized a few times because of the huge strong winds blowing in the sail. Luckily. i managed to right the sun-fish when it tipped because I had capsized it before.

I sailed around the lily pad area and turned back for the lake house. But the boat kept going slower and slower because I was headed up wind. The sun-fish started drifting toward the rocks, far away from my lake house. I didn't know what to do because with the strong winds, my boat would crash to the rocks in a matter of seconds.

That was when I saw the paddle hidden under a storage part of the sun-fish. I let out the sail and started frantically paddling away from the rocks. then I was able to turn my boat away from the wind and make it back to my lake house.

One thing that I think I do really well is running long distance. In spring when I do track and field I run the 1600 which is a mile. I think it is more fun to do than sprints. Sometimes I do very well. Even more than track I enjoy cross-country. It is my favorite after school activity. Once in a race I came in 1st. I am good at running long distance because I enjoy it very much.

I woke up to the sweet smell of Apple Pie on Thanksgiving morning. I got out of bed and staggered down the stairs. I heard Mother humming to herself while she cooked. The Apple Pie scent getting stronger. I arrived at the kitchen just in time for mom to turn off the oven and take the pie out. It was a sight like in a dream, Mother in an apron, a fresh baked pie looking magnificent, and the Macy's Day Parade on the mini television.

My mother greeted me with a warm hug and I felt her soft cheek against my lips. I couldn't have been happier!

People began to arrive and it was time to cut the pie. I sliced it and scooped it onto a plate for myself. I dug my fork into the pie and slowly raised it into my mouth. I was so delighted with the sweet apple taste in my mouth I immediatly went for more.

Finally dinner was over and everyone had left. Once again Mother and I were alone in our great big house. The apple smell was gone, the t.v. was off, Mother was no longer wearing her apron and it sat dirty and crumpled in the corner. Once everything was cleaned up I went to bed and Mother came up to give me a kiss. For the second time that day i felt her soft warm cheek against my lips. I went to bed dreaming of Apple Pie.

Skiing

Whenever I get off of the chairlift, I get a knot of fear in my stomach that I am going to fall off of the lift and plunge into the freezing deathbed.

But as soon as I lift my skis, I glide on the powdered snow.

It is a sunny day and it makes the snow glitter like crystals.

As early spring comes so do the birds.

A little bluejay chirps and makes the trees shake.

A slow but steady shard of snow gracefully falls,

I dodge and swiftly make my way to the other side of the lonesome trail.

I swerve from left to right with no noise but the sound of my shifting skis.

As I gaze at the winter mural,

I notice that the blue of the sky enhances the the purple-gray mountains,

and the tips of spruce trees bunch up to make patches of green blobs.

The brisk air caresses my exposed face,

and gently cools me from the heat of the lodge.

As I reach the end I pull my skis together close and speed up to finish the adventure.

As I stepped down the slopped hill of rocks. I looked to my left to see a rope swing, then I looked to my right to see the surf boards. I unclipped to hook holding the one of the surf boards. I then slowly walked down the rocky beach into the water, got onto my surf board and started rapidly moving my arms rapidly through the water. The water on my arms was as refreshing as a cold glass of lemonade on a hot day.

When I finally pulled into the large, white rock, I pulled the surfboard up to a red and white buoy, then hooked the board onto it. I quickly climbed up the rock to the lowest level, jumped off and was ready to go to the second to highest part of the rock. I go up to that part look off the rock say quietly to myself,"1,2,3, GO!" I jump off and when my feet touch the water I say....."YES!"

As I was starting to go down Pit lane my pace decreased vividly so I could make a sprinting comeback at the end. I was beginning to smell the smell of pine. The run was a comforting, and short run but when you started getting towards the end you got antsy. I finished Pit lane, ran up the steep hill and started rounding the circle. As I was closing the last turn I started sprinting, I couldn't control myself. Before I knew it I was across the finish line with a time of 27 minutes and 57 seconds. As you can see running is a hard but good skill and it's a great ability though and that's why I love to do it!

A soccer player has very good qualities. They try hard in what they do. As the Player kicks the ball, I examine they way she kicks the ball. It seems seems so easy but then so hard.

I had a soccer game last night, and I had the ball. I had time to pass to someone else on my team but then when someone yells, "Kelsi there's someone in front of you."

So then i decide to pass the ball to a open player in the middle they SCORE! I feel so proud of my team. But the other teams players were

furious at mine and so they were giving us squinty eyes and their faces looking red as ripe tomatoes.

That game was fun!

It all started out as putting my name into the almost filled box. The form took two seconds to fill out. I fold in half two times and then hope that i get in for the modeling position. The next day about 7 pm my mom picks up the phone and talks then she comes out with a smile on her face saying Kelsi you have an audition tomorrow at the fox Run Mall. I SCREAM quietly. The next next day i wake up to go to school After School i get ready then at 6;30 i go to Mall. My heart beating fastly.I walk up and sign my name they give me a line to memorize and to practice my walk. They finally call my number to tryout in front of the judge to say my line and walk down the runway. They ask me a few questions and then they have me say my line then walk down the runway. I say thank you then walk off the stage. When They call winning numbers they call mine i walk up to the stand and they take my picture with other girls that made it in too. I think to my self this might be my future and who knows i could be famous.
