Dear  parents,

Over the last weeks in math class we have been working on Module 1 of our textbooks. I would like to tell you some of the things that we have been doing while woring on Module 1. We started the year off with doing a unit on graphing. We compared data in the textbook and we even we allowed to make our own graphs. Soon we had moved on from graphing to probability. One activity that I enjoyed in that unit was our probability experiments. We put some items of choice in a bag and picked them out one-at-a-time. We tallied the data and wrote a paragraph about it afterwards. It was really cool. Out final unit in Module 1 was on Order of Operations or PEMDAS. We learned how to solve problems with multiple operations so that we all ended up with the same answers. The is what I have to say abour Module 1 and I am looking foward to working on Module 2.
