What Is A Raptor? I choose this article because it looked interesting. I found out it was interesting. Raptor originally comes from the Latin word "rapere". The word "Raptor" is the general term for all birds of prey. "Birds of prey are very powerful birds that have a extremly good sight sense". Some examples of raptors (or "birds of prey") are condors, falcons, and eagles. Raptors usually hunt in the day. SOme raptors like vultures, eat the dead bodys of gone by animals. Raptors are usually at the top of their food chain because they're very dngerous. That's what I learned from this awesome artical.

Vocabulary:
Carrion: The body or bodys of dead animals.
Prey: Something that is in danger of a predator.
Vertebrate: The spine in a body.
