I wanted to read this book because it seemed funny. It also had a dog on the front and i love dogs. A really exiting place in the book is when Frazz gets sent to Earth. I would reccomend this book to certain people because it is very funny but not very realistic.

The most useful invention to me is medicine. It makes my life easier because my mom has back problems and I worry a lot about her. Some famous medicine is penicillin products, this type of medicine was invented by Alexander Fleming. Medicine comes in many forms but I think that pills, shots, liquid, and inhaling medicine is the most common. Medicine is important because it can do many great things for us. When you're sick or not feeling well you can take medicine to help you feel better. If you get the Flu Shot every year that shot boosts your immune system and that helps stop the Flu. I have to take a pill to help me with a medical problem I have. I've took this medicine for a long time now and it has really helped me. I'm really happy that medicine was created because without it the world would be a whole lot worse and so would peoples lives.

I like reading certain kinds of nonfiction. I like reading nonfiction things sbout big cats. I like big cats a lot because I think it'd be cool to have one as a pet. The reason I was lead to like big cats was when I was at the Cincinati Zoo. I went to the exhibit called "The Lion's Den". I thought it was really cool because the because two cute little baby lion's were running around chasing and tackleing each other. My favorite type of big cat is a snow leapord. They look really cool and they learned how to survive off of the skills and resources they had.
Above is a picture of a snow leapord, notice how his fur could blend in with the surrondings. That's another thing Ilike about them, they adapted to their surrondings as a asist to their hunting. They have tons of strength. Those are the reasons that snow leapords are my favorite big cat

Red Tides are very dangerous. Red Tides are actually dangerous algae bloom.The reason it's harmful is because some types of algae produce toxins. These harmful algae can kill millions of fish, many dead fish on the beach is a sign. Also if you accidently eat a fish that's been poisoned you could get really sick.
I choose this article because it looked cool.

My favorite poem is Mabel by Jack Prelutsky and I like it because it's about a moose in a resturant. I like fantasy poems. I'm good at finding end rhyme. I think I will use end rhyme for my poem. I'm going to make my creative poems about animals.

What Is A Raptor?

I choose this article because it looked interesting. I found out it was interesting. Raptor originally comes from the Latin word "rapere". The word "Raptor" is the general term for all birds of prey. "Birds of prey are very powerful birds that have a extremly good sight sense". Some examples of raptors (or "birds of prey") are condors, falcons, and eagles. Raptors usually hunt in the day. SOme raptors like vultures, eat the dead bodys of gone by animals. Raptors are usually at the top of their food chain because they're very dngerous. That's what I learned from this awesome artical.

Carrion: The body or bodys of dead animals.
Prey: Something that is in danger of a predator.
Vertebrate: The spine in a body.

Christmas in Italy

In Italy, Christmas starts 8 days before Christmas. Instead of the kids believing in Santa, they believe in a person called Befana. Befana is a witch like person who they believe is in the Christmas story. In the Christmas story, she refused to go with the wise men at first. Later, she saw the star and decided to take toys to the baby Jesus but could not find him. Now, she brings toys to all good children each year.
Christmas decorations like nativity scenes and lights are becoming more popular in Italy. Sometimes the children of Italy dress up like shepherds and go from house to house playing music on pipes. I think many things are similar about our Christmas and their Christmas, like putting up decorations and Christmas trees, and getting presents.

So far, Guns for General Washington is about Will and Henry Knox going out to get guns and cannons for General Washington. My favorite character is Will Knox because he's the main character and he's brave. I liked when they got the guns across the lake after they first got them.I didn't like when the cannon fell into the river because they got held up because of that.You might want to read this book if you like adventures and Revelutionary War style books.

I could apply my multiple intelligence by doing a project.I could build a landform like we did for our states project.Or I could do a play as an assignment.I also could also make a Revolutionary War battle field.Those are some things I could do as assignments in Language Arts
