The most important inventions in my life are things like the tablet,iPad,iPod touchand the Iphone. Things like these electronics could help me do work like research or study on a web site. They are also fun to play on. All the iPads, iPods, tablets and such are also a great way to exercise your knowledge in technology. It can help you learn new ways to control your computer. Electronics are great! The creature of the ipod ipad and iphone is Steve Jobs! Steve Jobs was a great inventer of these electronics. Sadly he has died but he has made a difference.

Nonfiction Blog
When I talk about nonfiction I especially want to talk about animals. Animals are my favorite type of subject when it comes to nonfiction. The reason being is because animals make me smile! Especially baby animals because of their cuteness and playfulness I love them. Now most people like just baby animals in general but I like Baby tigers, dolphins, kittens, puppies, and things like that to be specific.I REALLY LIKE BABIES! https://encrypted-tbn1.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRFby87St5Owa0PqxVnJ0dhw--PFEYtytHJMV8bdJvn9FVPk_naQw" /> https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSj0ip3dUTuMWJsbPoRZnMaA5xYErqGkR9XDRYCz2vnAzEJPt-JEg" />

Hamburgers!!!

Hamburgers!
Are hamburgers made of ham? This question is asked a lot. If hamburgers were made of ham every time you got on you would go crazy! I would never eat another hamburger because I would get really sick from eating all that ham and I couldn’t go to school so I would miss out on learning. That would really mess with my everyday life.
If hamburgers happened to be made out of ham and I decided to work at a place that sold hammy hamburgers then I would go nuts if there was so much ham being used.
Having hamburgers that were made of ham just doesn’t seem right. If people all around the world had to eat ham as a hamburger whenever they felt they wanted one they would eventually get literally sick and tired of having ham, ham, ham, ham. Then people who owned companies that sold ham-burgers would go out of business and that would affect them financially.

Have you ever lost your marbles!

Have you ever been sitting at a table and your mom or dad is searching for something through cabinets and drawers. It might be mfunny at first but then all of the crashing and clanking of pots and pans happen until you finally ask them what are looking for and they tell you and it is sitting right there on the counter and you tell them its right there and they say Oh i might have been just losing my marbles. This phrase is as crazy as searching for something that has been sitting there the hole intire time! Well have you noticed your parents are marbles! Losing your marbles dosent actually mean that you hade a pack of marbles and you cant find them anymore. But it means that this phrase is a idiom. That means the words in the phrase dont acutually mean the exact definition. If you say thatyou are losing your marbles it just means that you are going crazy or losing your mind
TRY NOT TO LOSE YOUR MARBLES!

I enjoy poems by Shel Silverstein, Cathy Smith Bowers, Maya Angelou and Tony Hoagland. I also like mysterious, funny, and silly poems. In poems I am good at finding End Rhymes, Hyperboles,. When I write my own poems I think I will use End Rhyme, Hyperbole, Alliteration and others. My creative poems will probably be funny, silly, and mysterious.
I ENJOY READING POEMS!

They're to be seen across the north,
From frozen ground they will sprout forth,
Of nature we see a rebirth,
Seeds of life hid within the earth,
At last winter is to depart,
For the spring months are soon to start,
Flowers of the most pure white,
They are always a pleasing sight,
Undeterred should there still be frost,
Flowers will open at all cost,
The snowdrop's beauty shines most,
In a month that's a bitter host,
In woods darted about the place,
Bringing smiles to many a face,
For our countryside they do bless,
They bring about scenes that impress.
Ilike this poem very much because it reminds me of winter when we are not in school. I also enjoy this poem because when i read the part about frost it reminded me of Jack Frost and how in movies he's never nice but the frost in this poem is the complete opposite!

EE the Spring herself discloses, And the Graces gather roses; See how the becalmed seas Now their swelling waves appease; How the duck swims, how the crane Comes from winter home again; See how Titan's cheerful ray Chaseth the dark clouds away; Now in their new robes of green Are the plowman's labors seen: Now the lusty teeming Earth Springs each hour with a new birth; Now the olive blooms: the vine Now doth with plump pendants shine; And with leaves and blossoms now Freshly bourgeons every bough.
I like this poem because it makes me happy.
It also makes me think of what i could do outside when spring comes!

Messy Room
By: Shel Silverstein
Whosever room this is should be ashamed!
His underwear is hanging on the lamp.
His raincoat is there in the overstuffed chair,
And the chair is becoming quite mucky and damp.
His workbook is wedged in the window,
His sweater's been thrown on the floor.
His scarf and one ski are beneath the TV,
And his pants have been carelessly hung on the door.
His books are all jammed in the closet,
His vest has been left in the hall.
A lizard named Ed is asleep in his bed,
And his smelly old sock has been stuck to the wall.
Whosever room this is should be ashamed!
Donald or Robert or Willie or--
Huh? You say it's mine? Oh, dear,
I knew it looked familiar!
I chose this poem because it makes me laugh. And sometimes I have the exact same room and I’LL pretend it’s not mine when my mom and dad see it. Messy Room is a really good poem, especially for people like me that don’t keep their rooms clean.

How are Dolphins and porpoises different

How are Dolphins and Porpoises different
Most people are fascinated with dolphins and porpoises. Humans think they're the same.
Actually dolphins and porpoises are very different in many ways. It is very hard to tell they're difference if you haven't seen them up close. It's because Porpoises are part of the scientific family Phocoenidae, and dolphins are part of the Delphinidae family. Dolphins can be 10 feet long (or they can be longer!), porpoises are not so often longer than 7 feet. Dolphins also tend to be leaner and sleeker, while porpoises are more compact and often look chubby in comparison.
Dolphins usually have birdbeak-like pointed snouts, while porpoises have blunt, rounded noses like pigs. Porpoises have fins, like a shark. Unlike porpoises, dolphins have dorsal fins that are more curved like an ocean wave.
The teeth of the two animals is the easiest way to tell them apart. Porpoise teeth are flat and rectangular. Dolphin teeth are sharp and cone-shaped.
While the physical differences between dolphins and porpoises are small, the differences in the way they behave are more obvious. Dolphins travel in large groups and show little fear of humans. Dolphins are outgoing and will often interact with humans and even swim alongside boats.
Porpoises don't travel in big groups they travel in pods of two to four and are quite scared of humans. They almost never come up to boats of people. In fact, you barely see them at the top of the water unless they’re coming up to breathe. If you have ever seen an animal at a marine show, it will most likely to be a dolphin, not a porpoise.
The life expectancy of both mammals are very different. While most porpoises only live 15 to 20 years, dolphins can live up to 50 years or more. Scientists believe this difference may be caused by the fact that porpoises reproduce faster than dolphins and it takes a toll on their bodies.
One last difference about these creatures are that dolphins produce sounds that humans can hear. They share many characteristics and they look very similar. For example, both sea creatures are mammals. Although both mammals live in the ocean, niether of them are fish. Like all mammals, they have lungs instead of gills, so they breathe air. They also give birth and nurse them after they’re born.Porpoises and dolphins are both members of the same scientific order, Cetacea. Cetacea includes all whales, which are relatives of dolphins and porpoises. Dolphins and Porpoises are both beautiful creatures of the deep!
Words
Dolphin-Aquatic mammal
Porpoises- Aquatic mammal
Characteristics- Genes that make up a noun
Family- A group of people that are related
Gills- Breathing lines that aquatic things need an order to survive.
Lungs- Organs that you to breath.
Similar- Almost the same but not excactly

Hawiian Christmas

For my christmas blog I am doing Hawii! The traditional Christmas greeting in Hawii is "Mele Kalikimaka". The decorations on their tree symbolizes traditional Hawiian pastimes and wonders of Hawii. Poi balls are white balls on braided yarn used in New Zealand by women for dancing. Most Christmas traditions practiced in Hawaii come from the traditions brought to the islands by the missionaries of the 19th century. One unique tradition is the Christmas luau, which features the Kalua pig as itain course. The poinsettia, which grows on the islands, is considered the Christmas flower. Kanakaloka is what their santa is called down in Hawaii. I wish my Christmas wasnt and was like this. I think they enjoy their down there in Hawaii.

So far my book The Fighting Ground is about a boy named Jonathan finally fulfilling his dream ( becoming a soldier.) Jonathan is being very brave to fight in the war. Jonathan has been shooting with all his might toward those awful Hessians that are fighting as well. That war has past and Jonathan is now wondering off but then he hears a noise and it 1 hessian No Wait! 2 hessians !and there’s another one. Jonathan is now surrounded by three hessians as the oldest one call’s out what I think is Spanish words the other one of them gets out a rope and ties to Jonathan. Jonathan is trapped and he can’t get out what is going to do. But he does nothing.
Jonathan has been walking for what seems like hours now still with those rude Hessians. They suddenly stop and so, so does he. They stopped for a reason the reason was that they heard a familiar noise it was the sound of a cow across the pathway into the forest so they cross and listen out for the noise again and there it was. Walking into the forest suspiciously they saw a cow with a dangling chain from its neck. It is waiting to be milk Jonathan says and the Hessians let him and that’s just a brief of what happened then.
All the soldiers are sleeping and Jonathan is free to do whatever he wants and he realizes that he can go and be free and he also realizes he can do what a real soldier would kill the Hessians. So he takes a gun loads it and aims at the oldest hessian but he can’t do so he unloads the gun and gathers the boy he found sitting in a cupboard for who knows how long, before he heads on his way because he can’t leave him behind who knows what the hessians will do to him. Jonathan has walked with the boy in his arms for more hours until he sees a light and realizes that it’s the Corporal and his army he is joyful but they don’t know who it and one them say it’s the missing soldier and corporal recognizes him and Jonathan is now safe and sound with his army
I hope to read more and that Jonathan will be safe on his journey!

My intelligence can be used for many different things. One of them is doing an assignment that required me to use one of my intelligencesis I could use my bodily-kinisthetic means you can't sit still for long and/or you use your body or body parts a lot.I could do soccer for my sport, it is a perfect sport becuase it involves moving and using your boby or body parts and so does bodily-kinisthetic intelligence.
Ilove having bodily-kinisthetic as one of my intelligences and I also have many more!

What I like about the multiple Intelligence video is that it was so cool to change a school into a small town and have children act as adults and go to work. It was a fun system of games and such while also learning about their own smarts and seeing how it would be needed in everyday life as an adult and some as child. That is one pretty cool school!

I am smart at Spatial Intelligence. I am good at Spatial Intelligence because it has lots of things that apply to me such as drawing, coloring, watching videos, and movies. Also when I read books and there are no pictures I can use my imagination and picture what is happening. I enjoy all of these things and more, that is why I am smart in Spatial Intelligence.
I am also smart at Bodily- Kinesthetic Intelligence because it also has things I like and enjoy along with not being able to sit still for long. I like Intrapersonal Intelligence and Naturalist Intelligence. I am good at a lot of things in each of these categories which means I enjoy a lot of things and that’s great because I get to learn more about myself.

My cool state is Texas. Every state has a cool or crazy nickname. Texas nickname is the long-horn state and not because it could possibly have animals with long horns there. As soon as I figure out why it’s the long-horn state I will let you know.
Texas’ capital is Austin. Texas is the state I’m researching because I was chosen to do so but I like my state because it has one cool nickname and some amazing, fantastic and awesome amusement parks. That’s all I have for now. YEEE-HAA! Bye=http://!!

I am Arielle and I love Justin Beiber and his song, “I have two cats.” Justin Beiber and cats are my favorite things. I have two cats named Hugs & Kisses. My favorite sports are soccer and swimming. I like to have good conversations, especially over good food. My favorite hobbies is drawing and making art out of trash and containers. Of course I have more hobbies than the few I mentioned. My favorite foods are Mac & Cheese, ice-cream, cake, and pizza.
I don’t like to read plain books, but I do like to read series books and books that are suitable for me. For instants, I love the series of the “39 Clues” books. I love the outdoors and my backyard is great, because we have a small man-made pond my dad built. I love frogs and many go for a swim in our pond each day. The frogs are too quick to catch, so I catch Tadpoles because they are slower. I love my family, my sister, my mom, and my dad. They all love me too.
