 Arielle My cool state is Texas. Every state has a cool or crazy nickname. Texas nickname is the long-horn state and not because it could possibly have animals with long horns there. As soon as I figure out why it’s the long-horn state I will let you know. Texas’ capital is Austin. Texas is the state I’m researching because I was chosen to do so but I like my state because it has one cool nickname and some amazing, fantastic and awesome amusement parks.
