I am enjoying poetry so far. I really enjoy the anthology Scranimals, I also like the poets Jack Prelutsky and Dave Crawley. I really enjoy poems with personification in them. I am really good at finding some poetic devises like end - rhyme, personification, and alliteration. Some poetic devices I might use during our creative poetry time are: alliteration, personification, end - rhyme, and onomatopoeia. I will try to use a lot of my weather topics when I am creating poetry.

As far as topics of poems I like realalistic poems if I am reading poems but if I am writing poems I like to right funny or silly poems.I would say that the device that is the easyest to find is alliteration because it is my favorite type and I am always on the look out for it. These are easy devices for me to find because I know them well and understand them the most.  Devices I think I will use are end rhyme, onamonapia, and metaphor.  I will use these because I could do well using these devices.  My creative poems will be silly, no meaning, and I hope they could make someone laugh.  I want to make poems like this because these things I said are what I like to read about.

I enjoy Shel Silverstein alot. Topics I favor are mostly silly nonsense, out of the blue poems. I am good at finding end rhyme, onamonapiea, and repition. These are the most easily seen, sence they are most often on the starts an ends of lines, and onamonapiea is often CAPITALISED LIKE THIS: BLOOSH!

I think I'll  use these devices on my poetry myself. My poems are mostly silly, out of the blue poems, but  I have to be less out of the blue on my weather poems, but I still like them.

I think a lot of about poetry but specifically what I think is . . .

Some of my favorite authors that write poetry are Shel Silverstein and Dr. Seuss.  An anthologie that I have liked is by Shel Silverstein and is called Where the Sidewalk Ends.  I`m sure a lot of you have read Where the Sidewalk Ends and if you like Shel Silverstein you probably agree with me that it is a good book.  I like all kinds of topics but if you wanted to impress me, write one about animals.  I love animals, animals are my life.  A poetic device that I am good at finding is end rhyme of course it might be the easiest to find but that`s what I am good at finding.  If I wrote a poem I probably would use end rhyme the most out of all the poetic devices.  I think creative poems are random thoughts that come to mind, something that nobody else would think of, something really crazy.  If you think of something that nobody else would think of you then you are using your imagination and you are being creative.

That is what I think about poetry.

My thoughts on poetry, for one, are that Shel Silverstein ROCKS!  I like poems by Shel Silverstein because they are mostly silly, funny, and sometimes stupid, so stupid they just make you laugh.  My favorite anthology by Shel Silverstein is A Light in the Attic.  I enjoy poems about weird topic's that make me laugh.  I personaly think that I am amazing finding repitition, and end ryme.  If I had t write a poem I would usse repitition, end ryme, because I think a poem is sort of like a ministory without end ryme, and personification.  My creative poems would be as funny as I could get them because I like funny poems and I could probably write a funny poem too.

I like Shel Silversteins poems the best because they are very funny to me. I like reading poems about things that can't happen in real life because I like what they can do with their imagination and turn it into a poem. I'm very good at finding end rhyme or alliteration, and I'm good at finding more, but those are most likely the ones im best at finding. I'd like to use alliteration because I think it makes your brain confused because of the sound. One of the ideas I will use for the poems is my dog, Simba, or Orange (from "The Annoying Orange").

I just love poetry. Poetry is a great way to express what you are feeling like. I love poems from the anthology ''Where the Sidewalk Begins''. My favorite poets have got to be Shel Silverstein and Bruce Lansky. The poems I like to read about are mainly about animals and silly things. Some poetic devices that I am really good at finding are alliterations and end rhyme. My best guess at what creative poetry will be is that we will make cool kinds of poems.

I think poetry is a great way to express your emotions and feelings to others. Right now my favorite poems are short ones like haikus. I like these kinds of poems because if the author does a good job at writing the poem they can describe a lot very quickly. In class I usually read about animals or nature. Overall my favorite part of poetry is the poems never really need to make much sense. When I’m reading poetry it’s very easy for me to find onomatopoeias and rhyme. I’ve already started writing poems I use a lot of alliteration and end rhyme. Also I'm making an athology of poems by my friend and I.  I want to use more similes and metaphor. Since these devices can do a great job at describing things. This is my favorie class so far. I Love poetry!  :0 $)

I think poetry is very cool because you can express the way you look at things in the easiest way possible. Many of my favorite poets include: Jack Prelutsky, Shel Silverstein and Christina Rossetti, (who is the author of Flint, one of my favorite poems). These poets are my favorites because Jack Prelutsky and Shel Silverstein make laugh from their hillarious poems while Chirstina Rossetti makes me think and is very inspiring, especially her poem Flint. I am very good at finding many poetic devices such as assonance, end rhyme, otomatopeoia, and personification. I am really good at using end rhyme, otomatopeoia, alliteration and assonance in poems I've created. My future poems will be for children who like poems with lots of rhyme and are short.

My favorite poets would be Shel Silverstein, Dave Crawley, Jack Prelutsky and Dennis Lee.  To be honest I really think every poet is amazing in a different way like Jack Prelutsky likes to write silly poems and Langston Hughes likes to write some serious poems. I have enjoyed doing poetry this year. Some of the poets that I like are Dr.Susse and Jack Prelutsky plus Shel Silverstein. I like their poems because they write things in their poems that are funny and Interesting. The poetic devices I am good for, are end ryme, repetition, and onomatopoeia. I like these poectic devices because I understand them better than others and they help me write great poems. This year has been a blast writeing poems and sharing with friends. So far we are doing poems that involve science in them and I think that it is cool to combine stuff from other classes to another.
