I picked this book because I like reading about time traveling. Some exciting moments in this book where when Tycho sees himself from the past and the futures. It is exciting to read about what he has become in the futures he goes to, and each one is bad. I'ld recommend this book to people that want a sci-fi book that doesn't take along time to read and for people that like time traveling books. Tycho has a great adventure. You should read it.

I'm interested in technology (robots) and veicles because I like to learn how they work. The more advanced, the better. Another reason is the things they can do. The other reason is that without technology, our lives would be very different. Technology is like our imagination, but a reality. For example, people used to think man couldn't fly, it was only in the imagination, but the Wright Brothers made this happen. The world of technology has gotten better and larger over the years. I already know that one day people will invent somthing that is super amazing, that now it would only exist in imagination.

I'm doing #501, "Where is the Mother Road?" Todays roads and highways are only for getting around from one place to the other, but when cars where just getting popular, the routes where for looking out the window and seeing the sights to see. Route 66 was the place to go. In November 11, 1926, this new highway (that is what it was called back then) went from Missouri, all the way down to California. That's 2,448 miles long! Talk about long! The nickname "The Mother Road" came from a book named "The Grapes of Wrath". This historical road passes by the Painted Desert, Meteor Crater, and the Grand Canyon. Lots of people worked nere Route 66, there was every thing from gas stations to reptile farms! There where even little towns! You couldn't go anywhere on Route 66 without running into a store or a restaurant. Route 66 was so popular it even had its own TV show! But, as time went by, interstates where built and Route 66 was starting to get older. Now there are some places that you can't even drive on! This can chang the lives of other people in different parts of the world by not letting them be able to get all the information and sites to see on this very historical road.
Wonder Words (words that are underlined):
Highways~A road to drive on if you need to get to a place very fast.
Routes~A road that goes through the country.
Nickname~Not the real name, but usually it is shorter then the real name or a funny/nice name.
Interstates~Goes through miltiable states.

I like Shel Silversteins poems the best because they are very funny to me. I like reading poems about things that can't happen in real life because I like what they can do with their imagination and turn it into a poem. I'm very good at finding end rhyme or alliteration, and I'm good at finding more, but those are most likely the ones im best at finding. I'd like to use alliteration because I think it makes your brain confused because of the sound. One of the ideas I will use for the poems is my dog, Simba, or Orange (from "The Annoying Orange").

If You Ask A Stupid Question By.Paul Curtis
Joshua was caught talking to a friend during assembly
“What do you call a person” asked the headmaster
“Who keeps on talking when people are no longer interested?”
Joshua thought and to great applause he said “A teacher.”
I like this poem because it is funny. I also like how Joshua made that joke about the question the headmaster asked, that was very brave of him, I don't think I would do that to a headmaster. I bet he got in big trouble after that.

I'm doing #456, Can you be hypnotized? This is a very startling fact, but you can be hypnotized. But not like you think. Like you don't lose control, your fully awake, but not as aware of your surroundings as you usually are. Its just little things like quitting smoking or stop eatting meat. After New Year is usually the besiest time of year for a hypnotist because of the resolutions people make. They just don't want to hold onto it, so they go to the hypnotist to help them. The kind of hypnosis you do on stage is jest for fun, not like this at all. Some times, in the movies, the person hypnotizing is a magician, but I'm not sure that's true.
Wonder words:
Hypnotized~to be in a trance
Hypnotist~someone that hypnotizes people
Magician~someone that does magic tricks

Felize Navidad! That's Colombia's traditional Christmas greeting! The tree type is a traditional. The tree could be lights, ribbons, homemade ornaments, fabric dolls, and even baskets of candy! 90% of the people in Colombia are Roman Catholic. That's a lot of people that celebrate Christmas! On December 7th (in the evening), Colombians get candles and outline the streets, sidewalks, and parks. They set up Christmas trees on December 16th, and do prayers untill Christmas day. Colombians go and sing villancicos (Christmas carols) with friends and family as a Colombia tridition. Lots of Colombians go to midnight mass on Christmas Eve. "El Nino Jesus" brings presents to the Colombian children. Instead of under the tree, he puts them at the foot of their beds. After that day, the Christmas seoson is over. I wouldn't mind having Chistmas in Colombia, it's just like mine, but I like theirs a little bit better. The reason being is because Colombians have lots more traditions that they do then my family. It would be cool to try out different traditions from different places.

I liked when Will and Henry Knox got the guns to General Washington in the book "Guns for General Washington". He was very happy and surprised, but not as much as most of the others. They said it was impossible, but Will, Henry, large group of people and lots of animals brought guns, cannons, and muntions to boston. And just in time for Washingtons master plan to get the redcoats out of Boston and set its people free.
