My book was Go Big or Go Home and I wanted to read this book because the book sounded very interesting to me. One interesting part is when a meteorite crashes through Brady's roof. Another interesting part is when Brady goes dormant and his cousin and friends try to save him and make him come back to life. I would recommend this book to other readers. It has adventure, funny, and action types of genres and is a very great book.

One of the most important inventions in my life is baseball. Baseball makes my life better because it's very fun and I love to play it. The person who invented baseball is Alexander Joy Cartwright. A baseball has a white background with red stitches on certain parts of the ball.

The type of nonfiction I like is sports. I like sports because I'm very athletic and I like to learn about different sports. Sports are also interesting because I like to hear what interviewers and comentaters have to say about the games and other things. I already know a lot about different sports like baseball, soccer, basketball, etc. like the longest home run ever hit was 555ft. from home plate at the Minnesota Twins stadium and Shaq dunked and broke a goal, and a lot of other stuff. I also know the score of almost every game played recently and what happens during the games, I always pay attention to the games.

Have you ever been at a nice, warm campfire and you feel so good, then someone tells you a ghost story that makes you scared to death? Well that happens to a lot of people and it's been happening for a long time to. People believe that campfire stories have been here as long as fire has, that's really old! No one knows who invented the campfire story though. Campfire stories are best to tell when you're in the woods and it's night time because that's when you start to hear things and you think somehting is watching you, which only makes the story more scary and better. Some of the stories are famous old ghost tales . For example every christmas people hear about the story A Christmas Carol - the famous tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and his ghost of christmas past , present, and future. Do you have a favorite ghost story? Is it about a scary creature? If so comment me what it is. There are a lot of scary tales to tell. Some feature ghosts, while different ones are scary mysteries, myths, legends or tall tales. As you listen to these your body will react in different ways like your heart will probably beat faster, you mght get goose bumps or you may start to shiver. Those things happen to a lot of people while listening to scary stories.
tradition - Scary stories are what a lot of people tell while at a campfire.
shiver - shaking in fear.
impact - The amount of fright you feel at a time.

Have you ever wondered how many hot dogs you can eat in 10 minutes, who holds the record for how many hotdogs you can eat in 10 minutes or where the hot dog got its name , if so you will find out in this article. No food says summer like the hot dog. Maybe that's why July is national hot dog month. Althuogh nobody knows how hot dogs became such a popular symbol of summer, but there is a guess on why it's related to Fourth of July celebrations. There is a popular New York legend that says that four immigrants had a hot dog eating contest to see who was more patriotic, it took place at Nathan's Famous hot dog stand on July 4,1916. Since then Nathan's Famous hot dog stand on Coney Island has been the site of a hot dog eating competition every year July 4. Today it's the most famous hot dog eating competition in the world. During the contest 20 people compete to see who can eat the most hot dogs in 10 minutes. The winner in addition to bragging rights and maybe indegestion getsto wear a special jeweled mustard-yellow belt. Joey Chesnut of San Jose, California holds the world record for eating the most hot dogs in 10 minutes. On July 4, 2009 He ate 68 hot dogs in 10 minutes, with buns. But you know what's more incredible, how many hot dogs Americans eat each year. According to the National hot dog and sausage council, Americans eat more than 20 billion hot dogs each year. More than 155 million of those hot dogs are eaten on the Fourth of July weekend alone! What's your favorite hot dog topping? Most of the time adults get mustard and kids get ketchup, but I want to know your favorite. If you're wondering how the name hot dog came about then here's the answer, people believe sports cartoonist Tad Dorgan came up with the name. At a 1901 baseball game, a new food- hot dachshund sausages in buns- were being sold. Dorgan heard the people saying" Get your dachshund sausages while they're hot" He drew a cartoon of the seen but he didn't know how to spell " dachshund" so he just called them "hot dogs". The rest they say is history.
Immigrant- A person that traveled from another country to North America.
Average- The average american eats 60 hot dogs a year.
Cartoonist- Someone who draws cartoons.

Decorations: The Museum's Columbian tree is dcorated with lights, baskets of candy, ribbons, fabric dolls and homemade ornaments.
Christmas celebrations in Columbia start in early December with a ceremony in honor of the Virgin Mary. On the evening of December 7th, families light a lot of candles and use them to outline streets, sidewalks, and parks so that entire cities are illuminated. December 8th is a national holiday commemorating the Immaculate Conceptionduring which more candles and prayersare offered to the Virgin Mary. On December 16th, Christmas trees are raised and decorated which starts Novena, which in Columbia involes a nine-day prayer ritual with a rosary in anticipation of Christmas day. While celebrating Christ's birth, groups of families and friends gather each night and pray. Villancicos, Better known as Christmas Carolls, are also sung around the nativity scene that plays a significant part of Columbias Christmas celebrations. Most Columbians attend Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve before returning home for dinner. The Christmas meal often includes a speacial chicken soup called Ajiaco, homemade breads, fritters, roast port and natilla, a cornbased dessert. Presents are brought by "El Nino Jesus" at the bottom of the children's beds by the next morning, and after a relaxing day spent with family, the Christmas season is finished.

Then Joey sneaks down stairs into the keeping room and see's what terrible things the British are doing, he see's them breaking cups and making evering dirty with their boots, but worst of all he saw them playing darts and his fathers head is the target. How I would show my smart!

The way I would show my smart in school is by playing soccer or making a structure with my hands. I would do that because I love to play sports and they're fun to play and I love to do hands on activities because I'm bodily- kinesthetic. I am also smart not just physically, but mentally which means I know where to go, when and why, and I have helped build houses or renew a house with my dad and I understand blueprints. I also love to make my own blueprints and sometomes make them. I really love sports a lot and they are like my life because when it's baseball season I have 3 hour practices 2 or 3 times a week and a tournament every other week and it's fun, and I always play a sport for every season because I love sports. That's how I would present my smart at school!

I think Edutopia is a cool place to be because you can excel at what you are really good at and show people how you do it. I would like to have something like Smartsville at Voyager because it looks really fun and I can feel like I'm responsible for important things. I like how they changed the school into a "city" and have the kids do different responsibilities like the post office and the cooking class. That stuff looks really fun and I would love to go there for a lot of reasons like the cooking class because I love food and centural park because I think it's a good place to talk and play with my friends. The last thing is the ways they learn about they're smarts and how to make them better at them, and I like how they get to show off they're smarts at a presentation they have every year.Again I would love to have smartsville at Voyager!

Hi I'm gonna tell you about my smarts. I'm smart in two ways, one interpersonal, and two is bodily- kinesthetic. First is iterpersonal, I think I'm a better leader than I am a follower and I like to be around friends a lot to. I know how people feel in tough situations and stuff like that and I also give good adice sometimes you really need it. I really don't like working alone I like to work in groups and I work better in groups to. I know I have a lot of friends and I like that and I am glad that I do because I can get lonely pretty easily. Now my other smart is bodily- kinesthetic, I am a type of person that doesn't really stay still for long because I am very active. I enjoy doing hands- on activites and visual things because it's boring to just sit down and do nothing but write on paper. I love to play sports like baseball and soccer because they are very fun plus I always play sports so my coordination has improved a lot. I also love to build or construct things because my dad is a constructer and he has tought me a lot about building things. that's all I've got so good- bye for now!

My book is called Warriors and this is what I read. My book is mainly about these wild clan cats helping some tribe cats in the mountains with careless intruders. The clan cats try to prepare the tribe catsfor a battle with the intruding cats because the tribe cats can't defeat the other intruders. At first the tribe cats didn't want the clan cats there because they had a very different way of life but they helped them get trough the problem. Then the cats work together to plan an ambush on the intruders by blocking every intrance and also scaring there fur off by pretending to be attacked by badgers and it actually works. Finally theintruders give up and move out of the mountains for good and every cat is happy in the tribe and the clan cats go back home and everyone lives happily at home.
