Go Big or Go Home

Article posted May 10, 2012 at 01:17 PM GMT • comment • Reads 638

     For the Sci-Fi reading books, I read Go Big  or Go Home. I think that  I really wanted to read Go Big or Go Home beacause it sounded like an awsome adventourus book, and it was! If you like action and adventure, then I recomend this book to you. It is a book with many surprises, one of the biggest is in the begining of the book, when Brady finds th meteorite and where. There are a lot more surprises after that, trust me.

     My MVP Invention is Mozilla Firefox becuase you can go online and do almost everlything online! (You can't play canvas rider besuase you need Java). Mozilla Firefox makes my life easier becuase I can go online to play games, doreasherch, and even type this blog assinment. Mozilla Firefox was created by Dave Hyatt and Blake Ross as an experimental branch of the Mozilla

project. Firefox looks like almost any internet browser, it has a little bar on top that displays all your tabs and what they are, underneth that is the web site engine, and then underthat is a big boxthat dicplays the web page.

Mythology

Article posted March 20, 2012 at 01:19 PM GMT • comment • Reads 342

     I think that myology is cool. My favorite type of mythology is Greek Mythology, my second favorite is Egytion Mythology. Some gods that Ancient Greeeks belived in that I can name off the top of my head are Zeus, Hades, Piosedon, Athena, Meduesa and Hercules. I also know one of the stories about the Greek gods that Ancient Greeks belived and told was that Meduesa was once beautiful and good, but she was falling in love with Athena's brother, Hurculeas, and Athena was jeluos of all the attention Meduesa was getting, so Athena put an everlasting and unbrakeable spell on Meduesa. Meduesa wanted reveng, which drove her into evil. I would like to learn about more Greek gods and Egyption gods (and their names to). I do not belive in mythology, but I think it is an interesting topic.

Ghost Stories

Article posted March 15, 2012 at 01:26 PM GMT • comment • Reads 323

     Have you ever wondered if ghosts from ghost stories are real? I have! Some people belive in ghosts and some people don't, but either way, ghost strories are fun to tell, listen to, and be scared by! Ghost stories were probaly created when fire was discovered! The primitive man had no way of communicating, so they told stories. One well known ghost story is A Christmas Carol, and another one is The Legened of Sleepy Hollow.Some well knocryptids that somtimes feature in ghost stories (even though tey're not ghosts) are Bigfoot and Big Nesse/The Loch Ness Monster. This cuold affect some grown ups in two ways. One: telling ghost stories to kids, two: in a career/hobby as a ghost buster!

Spooky - Scary and haunting.

Tradition - Annual; once every year.

Spine- A bone in the back of your body that runs from your neck, down to your pelvis.

Poetry Thoughts

Article posted February 20, 2012 at 03:50 PM GMT • comment • Reads 408

I like reding books by Dr. Seuse and Shel Silverstien. I like some poetic devises more than others, some of my favorite are onomatopoeia and end ryhme. I am good at finding onomatopoeia becuase onomatopoeia is like comic book words. I think that I could easily use end rhyme in a poem that if I had to write one. I would probaly write a funny poem (or try to).

Flint

By:Christina Rossetti

An emerald is as green as grass,

A ruby red as blood;

A sapphire shines as blue as heaven;

A flint lies in the mud.

A diamond is a brillant stone,

To catch the world's desire;

An opal holds a fiery spark;

But a flint holds fire.

     This poem inspires me, I feel some kind of connection to it. This poem, to me, is like a door leading to insparation.

     Most animals leave footprints.When animals touch solid ground, they usally leave a footprint. You can track people and animals by following their footprints. It's easiest to track animal and people in snow or mud.

Wonder words:

1. Footprint- an imprint left by a foot.

2. Tracking- following a trail of evidence.

3. Adventure- an exciting trip.
