I wanted to read Go Big or Go Home because it seemed like a good book and the title was awesome. One interesting moment was when Buzz and Max used their catapult for the first time. Because it seemed awesome and they launched toilets and Fred. I would recommend this book to a person who likes action. Because most parts in the book were action and it was a really good book.

MVP Inventions and Technology

Article posted April 25, 2012 at 08:35 PM GMT • comment • Reads 429

The most important invention in my life is a automobile. It makes traveling a lot easier and faster. Karl Benz invented the first automobile. A automobile looks like a body on four wheels that has a engine.

Wonder #513

Article posted March 5, 2012 at 05:51 PM GMT • comment • Reads 308

I did Where do Worms go in Winter. There is 4400 different types of worms in the world. 2700 worms are earthworms. Some worms die in the winter, because they can't dig far enough in the ground. The only reason we still have worms is because when worms lay eggs in the Winter the cold air can't get through the shell. This topic I chose can affect other because worms help gardens and if you have a garden and there were no worms it would be kinda hard for the garden to grow.

Groundwater-Groundwater is water that is in the ground.

Estimated-Estimated is a logical guess.

Hibernate-Hibernate is when animals go to sleep in Winter and wake up in Spring.

My Thoughts About Poetry

My favorite poets are Shel Silverstein and Dr.Seuss. I like Where The Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein and Green Eggs and Ham by Dr.Seuss. One of my favorite topics is silly because they always make me laugh. I am good at finding alliteration and end rhyme. I wil probaly use end rhyme when I write my poems. I think my poems will be silly because I like to make people laugh.

My Teacher Ate My Homework

Article posted February 12, 2012 at 11:15 PM GMT • comment (1) • Reads 407

My favorite poem is My Teacher Ate My Homework by -Kenn Nesbitt

My teacher ate my homework,
Which I thought was rather odd.
He sniffed at it and smiled
with an approving sort of nod.

He took a little nibble --
it's unusual, but true --
then had a somewhat larger bite
and gave a thoughtful chew.

I think he must have liked it,
for he really went to town.
He gobbled it with gusto
and he wolfed the whole thing down.

He licked off all his fingers,
gave a burp and said, "You pass."
I guess that's how they grade you
when you're in a cooking class.
--Kenn Nesbitt

These are some reasons why I like this poem. I like this poem because it is funny and I like the rhyme.

Do all animals make tracks

Article posted January 27, 2012 at 09:10 PM GMT • comment • Reads 422

Do all animals make tracks? You can find tracks in your backyard, park, and school playground. If you look close to the ground you can see animal tracks. You would most likely see tracks better in the mud and sand. I thought this article was really cool.

adventure- to go explore

tracking- to find or search for

footprint- a print made by a foot

Holiday traditions in Luxembourg

Article posted January 2, 2012 at 05:50 PM GMT • comment (2) • Reads 668

In Luxembourg a Christmas tree is not traditional. People give and get presents on December 6th, St. Nicholas day. If kids have been really good St. Nicholas will come the before to give presents. If a kid is bad they will get a knock at the door from Black Peter and he will give you twigs or sticks or black coal. If you are really bad Black Peter will chain kids to his belt and go with the kids kicking and screaming. I think that is really mean.

Novel

So far Toliver's Secret is about a girl named Ellen. Ellen has to take a message for her grandfather to his friend in Elizabeth-town. Ellen has to dress up as a boy so she doesn't get caught. I didn't like when Arnie took the message from Ellen. I liked when Ellen took the message for her grandfather because he had a sprained ankle. My favorite character in Toliver's Secret is Ellen because she is nice and brave.
