3rd Times a Charm.

3rd Person Omniscient:

It was a beautiful day. Marie really didn’t want to be sitting in the car on her way to her dorky cousin’s house. She hated long car rides; it didn’t make it better that she didn’t like the destination. Marie’s mother knew that Marie was not thrilled with the whole idea so she told Marie, “Stare into the eyes of the beautiful mother nature, honey. It will really take your mind away from this long trip.”

Marie agreed with a simple, “Fine.” She stared out at the beautiful countryside. She felt as if the rolling hills could go on forever and she liked it that way. It made her wonder deep inside why her parents had chosen the noisy city as a place the raise a family.

Limited Omniscient:

It was a beautiful day. Marie really didn’t want to be sitting in the car on her way to her dorky cousin’s house. She hated long car rides, and it didn’t make it any better that she disliked the destination. Marie’s mother tried to comfort her daughter, who made it clear that she didn’t want to be in that car. She said, “Honey please try to forget the long trip. Stare out the window.”

Marie thought that this was a dumb idea, but tried in order to please her mother. She realized that her mother was right and she loved to think about what might be beyond the beautiful rolling hills.

Dramatic:

It was a beautiful day. Marie was sitting in the car on her way to her cousin’s house. Marie’s mother kept talking to her.

Marie’s mother told Marie to look out the window. Marie did what her mother asked and looked out the window at the beautiful rolling hills.
