Hey you! come read this poem/song. It's about the endless possiblilties and dreams that seem on the horizon as a child and how when you get older things start to grow dull and those possibilities start to dwindle because reality's harsh and sometimes you can't get what you want.
Floating on clouds
Flying through waves
Hiding through streets
Exposed in caves
Swimming with birds
Flying with fish
Cursing a star
On an asteroids wish
Were close to the sun
But we can still see the moon
We can still make it back before noon
In our space ship cocoon
What is work?
Why can’t we play?
I lost that child innocence today
So we pretend that we have control
When we are sporting a tie
But in the course of life
Conformity’s just another way to die
