Thanksgiving and Black Friday
November Free Write:
As the first snow gently falls upon the ground my family is inside my aunts house for Thanksgiving. My family and I have Thanksgiving at my aunt’s house. We spend all day the day before Thanksgiving cleaning her house. We also do as much cooking as much as we can the day before so that we don’t have to do it a few hours before everyone gets there. Every single year our whole entire family comes over and we do multiple things these include watching the parade, looking at flyers for black Friday and then cleaning up all the mess.
After we are all done eating we go to the living room to watch the parade on T.V. My aunt and uncle don’t have a lot of furniture so we pile on top of each other to watch the parade. It looks really funny because all of us are piled on the couch. My dad, my uncle, and my cousin are usually sleeping through the whole parade.
After that we sit at the table and have desert and make jokes. Then we plan what time we have to leave to go shopping and where were going to go on black Friday. Then we clean up the kitchen and the living room. After that we play board games and play with their dogs. We usually get home at like 11:00 and get up at 5:00 to go shopping the next morning.
In the morning we usually go to target first and one time the line was wrapped around the store twice. Then we spend all day shopping and get home at like 6:00. That is one busy couple of days.
