Spoiled and Selfish
How do you judge someone? By their appearance? By their attitude? Well in the story “The bass, the river, and Sheila Mant” Some people think that Sheila Mant is a nice person but I think that Sheila Mant is a selfish, spoiled blonde.
Sheila Mant is a spoiled brat. One of the reasons that Sheila Mant is a spoiled brat is because every guy wants her. That makes her spoiled because she thinks that she is all that, be really nobody perfect. The Dartmouth heavyweight crew would scull past her house just to see her. Another example of her being spoiled is that her parents are rich. Since her parents are rich; Sheila Mant thinks that she can get away with everything, but that’s not true. I think that Sheila is spoiled with money. The last example of her being spoiled is she didn’t like softball so she didn’t even try. Since she didn’t like softball she thought she could get away with not trying. Those are my examples of Sheila being spoiled.
Sheila Mant is also a selfish person. She is selfish because she left the narrator to go home in a corvette with Eric, the cute guy. The only reason she went with the narrator was to see Eric. On the ride there she only talked about herself, she didn’t once ask a question about the narrator. Sheila was only concerned about herself that makes her selfish. While at the party Sheila only danced with the narrator once or twice. She was only concerned with herself and Eric. That makes Sheila Mant a selfish person.
Some people think that Sheila Mant is a nice person because she did go with him to the party instead of Eric. Also she did dance with him a least once which was nice of her. Considering her personally. When she got there she only danced with the narrator once. Instead of Sheila leaving with the narrator she left with Eric in a corvette. Sheila Mant was just leading the narrator on. Sheila is a spoiled and selfish brat.
I read this story over five times and I have come to the conclusion that Sheila Mant is a spoiled, and selfish. She used the narrator for a ride to a party, and then never went home with him. She only went to see Eric and ditched the narrator. Sheila was leading the narrator on, and that is a selfish thing to do. That is my statement I got from reading the story over five times.

Sports with shorts can kiss our kilts. Field Hockey is one of the most difficult sports to play; it’s a game of power, speed, stamina and skill. Field hockey was originally a man’s sport. It’s dated back in the 1800 when a bunch of man started playing with a stick and ball, but it has change a little since then.
. The Field hockey field is hundred ft by fifty ft. It’s divided by a center line and a twenty-five yard line in each half of the field. The goalies cage is the ends of the field. There are eleven different positions on the field. At the center line there are four people called the forwards they play offence, then behind at the twenty-five are the mids they play offence and defense, after them are three backs they play defense, then finally the goalie.
The rules to the game are somewhat complicated, but I’ll try to explain them the best I can. You cannot hack during a game, hacking is when you continuously hit the other players stick. Then there are block outs or obstruction those are when you get in front of the person when you have to ball. Also there are feet. You cannot touch the ball with your feet. There are also dangerous hits, when to ball is too high into the air. Then there are dangerous sick, when your stick is too high in the air. The moves you can do are the y-doge, "L", and the backwards "L". Those are pretty self explanatory.
During the Field hockey season I played has a center mid, my job is to get the ball for the backs up to the forwards to get a goal. This year our Field hockey team made it to playoffs, we were second in the lead. We had a twelve -three season. This year was great and I couldn't ask for a better team. I can't wait for our next season.

Have you ever just wanted to let loose be yourself and not care what anyone thinks well that’s where facebook comes in hand. The website that has over five billion users. The place where you can go and be yourself and meet new people. It’s the website that has changed the world. Facebook has dominated the social media. People used to go to Google to look up the news or turn on their TVs, but facebook has become the one place where you can get the news at fast and easy.
Facebook has also affected us in a positive and a negative ways. Some of the ways it has affected us in a positive ways is we can connect to the whole world. People everywhere can become friends with people in different countries. This is a wonderful thing. To be able to connect with the world with just a few clicks is amazing, it just blows my mind. The other positive things facebook has is now people can make friends. I know that sounds cheesy but it's true. I'll be the first one to say sometimes its not easy make friends, especially face to face. This way people can meet and not be afraid of the things they say are what they look like. Those are some of the positive things about facebook.
Now some of the negative things about facebook is that there cyber-bullying. Cyber-bullying is like making fun of someone on the Internet. Since facebook connect with the world there is a lot of cyber-bullying going on. On January 26, 2011 they made cyber-bullying illegal in all fifty stated so if you get caught you get in a lot of trouble. Other bad thing about facebook is there are public sex offenders. They can pretend to be someone else and send you a request to be your friend. You don't have to add them but some people do. That's why you only add people you know. You don't add people who your friends know, or who you parents because you don't know them personally. Those are some of the negative ways.

All About me:)
Hello, my name is Bobbi Kelder and I play Field Hockey. The picture that I put that most represents my personality is a smiley face, because I’m silly. The next picture that I put was something I like. The picture I used was a picture of Field Hockey sticks. I played Field Hockey for 3 years and it’s something I’m good at. The second the last picture I put on my binder is the book my mom used to read called The BFG by Roald Dahl. The last picture that I put on my binder is a picture of anything and I put a picture of my 3 nieces because I love them. And the quote that I put is “The more you change, the less you feel.” The reason why I put that is because a lot of people want me to change, but I don’t believe that people should change the way they look for someone else. Thank you for listening, and I hope you like my binder.
