You're such a liar
In the short story "The Djinn Who Loves Between Night and Day" the theme is lying never makes everything better. This theme relates to the story because the Djinn was helping the old man by lying and said he would bring his kids and wife back to life if he swore to never look for them. This was good because it gave the sorrowed man hope; though it was a lie, and the old man would never know it was in fact a lie. This theme also relates to real life. For example when you tell your friend that another person didn't say what everybody is telling them they said when you know they did. It is helping your friend to know that this person didn't back stab them, but in reality you know they really did. In conclusion, lying never makes everything better.
