 snowww.<3 November Free write. When you hear the word winter what do you think of? When I hear the word winter I think of snow and when I think of snow I think of skiing. I love to ski. I love to ski because I love the rush you get going down the slope. When you ride up the ski lift it’s really boring sometimes, but if you’re with the right people it’s really fun. I ski on blue squares because I’m too afraid of going down black diamonds. Blue squares are one step below a black diamond, but they’re not as steep. When you’re at the bottom of a black diamond you can basically see the top of the mountains. Some people snowboard instead of skiing because they think it’s easier, but in my opinion skiing is much easier. I tried snowboarding once with my sister and I couldn’t even stay up. As a result of failing at snowboarding, I ski. Snowboarding and skiing are very different. A snowboard is obviously only one board, and skis have two. Skis are much easier to balance on in my opinion because you’re standing on two feet, not balancing on one board. I also like to drink hot chocolate after I come off the slopes. So tell me… When you think of the word winter, what comes to your mind?
