 FRESHmen! Your freshmen year will probably not be what you are expecting it to be. It is very different from 7th and 8th grade. It is more challenging, you have to keep up with you school work because now everything is going on you permit record. You also get a lot of homework, but if you keep up you will do fine. This is also an exciting year! You get many new privileges, for example you get to go to homecoming, play varsity sports, and you get more freedom in field day. Even though you get to go to dances in the younger grades, homecoming is much different. You don’t have to casually dress, you get to dress up. Also playing on varsity sports is a huge opportunity, more people come to watch you play. Your freshmen year is a very exciting part of your high school career. Have fun!
