 The voices inside your head (theme) Theme: Don’t think everything is what you hear. The theme of the story “The Djinn that lives between night and day” is don’t think that the voice you hear when you’re sleeping is real. This applys to the story because the Djinn tell the mother to go and leave the family at night so she thinks that she really has to do it. Real Life: When you’re sleeping and you think you hear a noise but you really don’t.
