 XC Is a Mental Sport, And I Am Insane. Why is this year flying by? The first day of school seemed like it was yesterday. I can't believe it's October already! This school year is flying by just like my cross country season. My cross country season is coming to an end unfortunately. I only have one race left, distrcts. The biggest and most competitive of the year. The top twenty five places earn medals in this race. My team has done really well this season taking second in the league. In every race so far, I have been in the top ten. We have a really good shot at winning. My teammates are Hunter, Dan, Tristan, Ty, and Jake. We have all worked really hard this season, and this summer. Like Benjamin Franklin once said " There are no gains without pains.". This season has flew by. It is shortly coming to an end.
