September Freewrite

       Have you ever had to make a decision between a fish and a girl? If you did what did you chose? The fish or the girl? The narrator in the passage "The Bass, The River, and Shelia Mant" was put in that delema. What would you chose if you had that choice? I know I would chose the fish over any girl. Some people say that they pick the girl because they say she is more important. I say chose the fish if the girl really liked you she would understand that you like fishing. Also the narrator's pole bent duble so the fish has to be really big. I deffinetly wouldn't want to give up a monster fish for some girl. My oppinon is that a girl shouldn't make a guy change what he likes for her. She should understand that he likes fishing and she should try fishing with him once they decide wheather or not she likes fishing then. The narrator had ended up cutting the line for Shelia Mant but later that night she dumped the narrator for Eric C. and his car.

     The narrator learned a really good lesson that day. He learned that next time he catches a huge bass like that reel it in anyway no matter if the girl doesn't like fishing.
