3rd Time's a Charm
3rd person omniscient
One sunny day in the deep blue sea, Franklin the fish was laying in the sun thinking to himself, "Oh how I wish I could walk along the sand with the humans." He laid there day dreaming about how he would look as a human, he wondered how wonderful his life would be if he could walk above the water, and he closed his eyes and wished with all his might that one day his dream would come true.
Well his mother did not want her son thinking of such things. She wanted her son to be thinking of things like playing sports with his friends, doing well in school, and going to college some day on an athletic scholarship.
His mother came into his room in a huff. “You need to get up, go outside, and play. Get some fresh water into you before the day is done.” Franklin sighed, swung his fins to the edge of his bed, and swam towards the door to enjoy the rest of his day outside.

In the distance the swishing of his mother’s finsteps coming down the hallway could be heard. Before he knew it his mother came into his room in a huff. “You need to get up, go outside, and play.
