A Visual Representation of Me

Hi everyone! My name is Emily and I love athletics! I am a basketball cheerleader as of this year, I do dance; tap, jazz, ballet, and pointe, and I am a long, triple, and high jumper in track and field.  For English class we had a task of completing a binder about ourselves and this is what I am like!

The quote I chose to put on my binder was: "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind." by Dr. Seuss. I chose this quote because it relates a lot to my life. My friends mean the world to me and I know they are true friends because they put up with my crazy ways and they don’t care.

For my picture of something I like I chose the movie August Rush. This movie is about a boy who follows his dreams and in the end it leads him to his birth parents. This movie is very touching.

The color green represents my personality best. I love to be outdoors and the woods. I hunt so that probably has somethin to do with it. I am the kind of person who would rather be outside taking a walk or going on a bike ride rather than being inside on the computer or watching tv. I love nature and all the animals in it.

One of my favorite books i've read is "Where the Red Fern Grows". My fifth grade teacher read it to my class and we all enjoyed it. It tells a great story and I intend on reading it again.

I love to take pictures! Pictures of nature are my favorite! Photography is a work of art and i find it interesting in its own way.
