Do you and your friends act CRAZY ever? I don't think that myself or any of my friends are "normal"!! OMG! I love my friends. They are always there for me no matter what and I am there for them. There is this qoute that I thought fit my best friend Olivia,Cassie, and I. It's"Best Friends: we're the kind of people who laugh at a joke 3 times; once when it's told. The 2nd when someone explains it to us && five minutes later when we actually get it."
This fits Olivia, Cassie, and I because we are like close. Almost like sisters. I know that she would do anything for me and i would do the same for her. Thats just how it works, right? Livie and I are like sooooo close. Cassie and I are the same way too. We tell each other secrets and talk about our problems, and even if we look at each other when something is said we just start laughing. I don't know what I would do with out my best friend. I have this saying from 4-H. It's "to make the best better.". When one of my friends are upset I tell them that I'm always there for them and they can always come and talk to me about anything and I won't tell anyone. Unless they are going to hurt them self or others. I know that they would do and do the same for me. I think that every one needs to have a close friend or friends.

To the new beginners of the High school world,
This year is the year that you get to start preparing for your future. A couple of the classes that you will be taking are CP Science, CP Civics, health and English. The science teacher is Mr.Woolcock. He is one of those teachers where as long as you do his work and give him some respect than he really doesn’t care what you do. Mr. Hein is going to be your civics teacher. Mr. Hein I think is like the best teacher because he really doesn’t care about what you do or anything but you have to take his notes and do all of his work sheets to pass. To me, and I don’t know about anyone else but, Mr. Hein seems to always have the munchies. The health teacher is Mrs. Farr. All I can say for that class is that you better pay attention and do as she tells you because she is one of those teachers you don’t want to tick off. Well if you are reading this than you already know Miss. Transue. Transue is very outgoing; there is one thing that you need to know about this class. If you fall behind, than you are going to have a hard time recovering from it.
Good luck in ninth grade and with all of the other things with this year. I recommend doing all of your work and handing it in on time and trying to get the best grades possible.
GOOD LUCK FRESHY=http://!!!!
Your former freshman

April Freewrite
April is a time of spring right???? In order to celebrate spring you need a good spring poem. One of my most favorate poets are Robert Frost. Robert Frost is one of my favorate poets because he is like the poet of all time. Robert Frost is the best poets because all of his poems make sence because they all relate to life.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
I believe that this poem is an inspreation to all human kind. I believe this because this poem tells how one traveler took road that not ever one was taking because he wanted to be different. In life ever one needs to be their own person and not follow the crowd because then you aren't you your just some follower. If you be a follower than your going to get into the wrong crowd. Meaning your so called friends are going to be the "bad apples" in life. You might end up in things like drugs and other things. People need to relize that you need to be your own person. What I would like you to do is after you finish reading the rest of this blog I want you to do something that is like all you and on one told you to do it just do something amazaing. I hope that you learned sometihng in this bolg. Also I would like to end this blog by saying that you need to me your own person and to just be your self. if yuor so called friends are your ture friends then they will except you for how your are not who you aren't or pretending to be. Good luck with your mission!!

VALENTINES DAY!!
Valentines day is for everyone some people might not thing so, but it is. There are some ups and downs to Valentines day. The ups are that you can show your effection for eather your friends or that someone speical. The downs are that you won't always get something or that you can't find anyone to be your Valentine. So just take this advice and try to be the best that you can.
Valentine ’s Day is something special for everyone.
There is hearts and flowers and candy aglow.
Then there’s that someone special
That we all love so dear in our hearts.
You want to make it special.
You think all day and then all night and suddenly…….
It’s there!!!!
You have the perfect idea a dozen roses
A box of candy and……………………..
YOUR HEART
You tell them you love them and
That you will never be apart
Then it happens you ask the question
“Will you be my Valentine?????”
They say yes and again once more you say
That you have a question
“Will you marry me?????”
They say yes…….then you wake up
Next to your love
But that’s in the future
Let’s stay with the here and now
Just ask them, just once
“Will you be mine?” or
“Will you be my Valentine?”
And you’ll wait for that yes
Forever or more

Evil? Or not Evil?
Evil or not evil, that is a question!?! Have you ever suspected anything before? Where you ever accused of being evil? In the book Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury Jim Nightshade is so evil. The reasons why people he knows thinks that he’s evil is in which he was born, how reckless he is, and how he is “the dark one.”
First things first…. The circumstances in which Jim is born. In the prologue it states that Jim is born on Halloween. It also states that Jim was born “one minute after midnight” (Bradbury, prologue). You know how the youngest is always the sweet one?!? Well in this instance the youngest is the most evil. Just because he was born on Halloween and how he’s the youngest. Yes but he is evil because he was born on Halloween and he is the youngest.
RECKLESS, RECKLESS YOU THINK THAT IM RECKLESS. Yes other people think that Jim is reckless. There is this part in the book where Jim takes down the lightning rod (Bradbury 42 end of chapter 9) I find this very reckless. In the beginning of chapter 18 Will and Jim find the carousel and they say that “its horses, goats, antelopes, zebras, speared through their spines with brass javelins, hung contorted as in a death rictus, asking mercy with their fright-colored eyes, seeking revenge with their panic-colored teeth” (Bradbury, chapter 18 first paragraph). Mr. Dark is evil. We all know that, well that part in the book where he is looking for Will and Jim in the library. Jim for once thought that is was a good idea to yell and give away their position. Jim pays attention to his surroundings. Yes that is true but the only reason why is because he is curious.
Dark or light? According to Mr. Halloway Jim is a “Black hat.” We can infer that “black hat” means that he is dark or evil because of his actions (Bradbury, End of chapter 4) Jim does some pretty bad stuff, one of the worse is when he sneaks out at night in the middle of the night. Jim and Will are best friends but, Will is always trying to look out for Jim like for instance when Will is trying to pull Jim off the carousal Jim refuses to let Will do this. Jim gets off the carousal but, only because Will made him (Bradbury, chapter 51)
In conclusion Jim is evil because of when he was born, being reckless and how he is “the dark one”

Kyler the turkey was just wandering through the woods. All of the sudden he was pushed in to a well. Unfortunalty Kyler was out of luck the well was dry so he hit rock bottom.
Then a flash flood came upon the well and it lifed Kyler half way out of the well. He saw the well as half full others thought it was half empty. A poor old farmer saw the well and tied a rope and a pail to the well so that he sould get come water. He accedently hit Kyler on the head which knocked him unconscious. Luckly he survived that huge blow to the head.
After he woke back up he climbed out of the well. He got out of the well and slipped on some ice and fell. He was running from a hunter. Then he tryed to run into a house but on the way in the triped over a step and fell again and hit his head. This time he didn't survive.

My Favorite things
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into Springs
These are a few of my favorite things
When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad.

Good vs. Evil
Light or dark? Night or day? Good or evil? I chose to write my essay on “The Djinn who lives between Night and Day”. I chose to do this story because I truly believe that the djinn, Al-faq is a good djinn.
Al-faq the djinn is good because in the end of the story he helps the husband of a depressed woman. Al-faq helps by giving the man directions to “Walk south. Walk until you can go no farther. I will give you a sign that your wife and children have returned to life, but you must stay there by the sea, alone, with nothing. You must never speak again. You must never seek the ones you love, for if you find one, then all eight must die.” (Rogers 4) The man did as Al-faq told him to. Then followed the directions. Al-faq had followed him far behind him. Some people may think that Al-faq is bad. In the beginning I thought that al-faq was a mean djinn because he really didn’t do any thing to punish Tayab, all he said was “some mischief” (Rogers 1).
Other people may believe that al-faq is a bad djinn because he had lied to the man and old him that he “will give a sign that your wife and children have returned to life” (Rogers 4). However, Al-faq had sent the village people from a near by village to go and help him. Al-faq said to them “there is a holy man beside the sea. Find him. Care for him” (Rogers 4). They also did as they were told. That is how Al-faq is good but yet bad.
Al-faq is also good because after he listens to Tayab’s story Al-faq went and tried to fix what had already been done. First Al-faq went and found the man. The man that Al-faq head helped was now “hollow-eyed and thin” (Rogers 4). Then Al-faq gives the man’s directions to follow. I feel very strongly about how Al-faq is good and how all of my reasons support that he is good.
In conclusion Al-faq is a good djinn. I am fair because I can see both sides of this story. Like how Al-faq is good but yet bad at the same time.

Wow, there are so many compromises in this world. There are the Great Compromise, the 3/5 Compromise, and many more. I will be telling you about the Great Compromise and the 3/5 Compromise.
The Great Compromise
In this paragraph I will tell you about the problem of the Great Compromise. The problem arose between the larger states and the smaller states. The larger states wanted the Virginia plan. They wanted this because in the house they wanted 2 houses to represent them. In addition they wanted representation to be based on population. The smaller states had a different idea. They wanted 1 house and for representation to be equal for all states.
The solution was the Great Compromise. The Compromise was written by Roger Sherman. It expressed that there would be 2 houses. There was an upper and a lower. The upper house (senate) would have 2 houses. And that there would be a lower house. The lower house would consist of representation based on the population of the state.
The 3/5 Compromise
The problem that arose before the 3/5 Compromise was that the north (mostly farmers) wanted to taxes to be put on slaves. The south just wanted slaves to be counted as representation in the senate.
The solution to this was that for every 5 slaves only 3 would be counted as both representation and taxation.
In conclusion the Great Compromise and the 3/5 Compromise were both beneficial to what we know to day.

He did the mash
He did the monster mash
The monster mash
It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash
It caught on in a flash
He did the mash
He did the monster mash
From my laboratory in the castle east
To the master bedroom where the vampires feast
The ghouls all came from their humble abodes
To get a jolt from my electrodes
They did the mash
They did the monster mash
The monster mash
It was a graveyard smash
They did the mash
It caught on in a flash
They did the mash
They did the monster mash
The zombies were having fun
The party had just begun
The guests included Wolf Man
Dracula and his son
The scene was rockin', all were digging the sounds
Igor on chains, backed by his baying hounds
The coffin-bangers were about to arrive
With their vocal group, "The Crypt-Kicker Five"
They played the mash
They played the monster mash
The monster mash
It was a graveyard smash
They played the mash
It caught on in a flash
They played the mash
They played the monster mash
Out from his coffin, Drac's voice did ring
Seems he was troubled by just one thing
He opened the lid and shook his fist
And said, "Whatever happened to my Transylvania twist?"
It's now the mash
It's now the monster mash
The monster mash
And it's a graveyard smash
It's now the mash
It's caught on in a flash
It's now the mash
It's now the monster mash
Now everything's cool, Drac's a part of the band
And my monster mash is the hit of the land
For you, the living, this mash was meant too
When you get to my door, tell them Boris sent you
Then you can mash
Then you can monster mash
The monster mash
And do my graveyard smash
Then you can mash
You'll catch on in a flash
Then you can mash
Then you can monster mash

Seems like everybody's got a price,
I wonder how they sleep at night.
When the sale comes first,
And the truth comes second,
Just stop, for a minute and
Smile
Why is everybody so serious!
Acting so damn mysterious
Got your shades on your eyes
And your heels so high
That you can't even have a good time.
[Pre-Chorus:]
Everybody look to their left (yeah)
Everybody look to their right (ha)
Can you feel that (yeah)
We're paying with love tonight...
[Chorus:]
It's not about the money, money, money
We don't need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag
Ain't about the (ha) Cha-Ching Cha-Ching.
Ain't about the (yeah) Ba-Bling Ba-Bling
Wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag.
[Verse 2: Jessie J]
We need to take it back in time,
When music made us all UNITE!
And it wasn't low blows and video Hoes,
Am I the only one gettin... tired?
Why is everybody so obsessed?
Money can't buy us happiness
Can we all slow down and enjoy right now
Guarantee we'll be feelin
All right.
[Pre-Chorus:]
Everybody look to their left (yeah)
Everybody look to their right (ha)
Can you feel that (yeah)
We're paying with love tonight...
[Chorus]
[Verse 3: B.o.B]
Yeah yeah
Well, keep the price tag
And take the cash back
Just give me six strings and a half step
And you can keep the cars
Leave me the garage
And all I...
Yes all I need are keys and guitars
And guess what, in 30 seconds I'm leaving to Mars
Yes we leaving across these undefeatable odds
It's like this man, you can't put a price on life
We do this for the love so we fight and sacrifice everynight
So we ain't gon stumble and fall never
Waiting to see, a sign of defeat uh uh
So we gon keep everyone moving there feet
So bring back the beat and everyone will sing
It's not about...
[Chorus x2]
[Outro: Jessie J]
Yeah yeah
Oo-oooh
Forget about the price tag

The best thing 'bout tonight's that we're not fighting
Could it be that we have been this way before?
I know you don't think that I am trying
I know you're wearing thin down to the core
But hold your breath
Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
You're impossible to find
This is not what I intended
I always swore to you I'd never fall apart
You always thought that I was stronger
I may have failed, but I have loved you from the start
Oh, but hold your breath
Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
It's impossible
So breathe in so deep
Breathe me in, I'm yours to keep
And hold on to your words 'cause talk is cheap
And remember me tonight when you're asleep
Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
Tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
You're impossible to find

Theme: Love is stronger than anything in the universe.
How does it apply: This theme applys to the story because in the story the mother goes West because she loves her childern so much that she will do anything for her kids even if that means bringing them back to life.
Real life man: This theme applys to real life because if you dont have some type of love you are going to life a short lonely life.

OCTOBER FREEWRITE!!
Wow!! This is a really great story!! You should read it.
In the 1785 there was a little girl named Ginger. She saw how around the Halloween season everyone was called to the center of town to witness the killing of a "witch." She had seen so many of her friends and her family die because other people think that they were practicing witch craft. One day the town sheriff came to her house.
Ginger answered the door and said "May I help you officer?"
The man said "Please fetch your mother."
Ginger didn't ask quistions she just did as she was told and later found that the officer was taking her mom.
She started to scream "Please don't take her mother don't go!!"
Her mother said "Make sure to close the door and don't you worry, I have not done anything wrong. It's just the rumors floating around. One last thing my love please don't forget me after I fall."
Ginger was now crying, screaming for her father to come in from the barn, but there was nothing he could do but hold her back.
That after noon everyone was called to town square to watch Ginger's mother be sacraficed because she was accused of doing witch craft. Sadly, Ginger was forced to watch the painful death of her mother so that way it was sure that she was not involved in witch craft eather. Years later Ginger's father died from being struck by lightning. Ginger could not handel it any more people dieing here and then there. She desided it was time to go reunight with her parents. It took her a couple of months to figure how she was going to do it but as she came up with a plan there was a suden burst of nosie in the house as she was sleeping.
In the morning she did not wake up she had been murdered by some of the drunk person going home from the saloon. As the years went on everyone thought about the past and how unfair it was to accuse people of witch craft when in reallity there was no such thing.

WOW It's September Already!!!
September Freewrite
Wow!!! It's September already and school has started too. I think that the worst think about September is that it starts to get cold and it's the season befor winter. The best season in my opinion is winter because I get to ski. Some people think that winter is the worst season there is....but I beg to differ.
There are so many other sports to play in the world other that skiing like ice hockey and basketball. Some people think that there are only sports to play but there is also drama, key club, and student councle. September also is the month of cold weather and really good apples. The best apples are the honey crisp apples from Jane's orchurd.
There are also a lot of great thing to like homecomming. Homecomming is one of the most bigest dances. You can go when you are in nineth thru twelveth grades. As you can see there are a lot of things comming up after Sepetember so let's just take it one step at a time.
As many would say September is the most wonderful time of the year. With only minimal things wrong.

Hi my name is Katie and I am one of three princesses in my house!!! The quote that I chose is a 4-H quote it's to make the best better. It was written by the 4-h club. For my first picture I chose to have a picture of "I TENNIS". I chose this because I love the sport and I think that everyone should play it. The picture that represents my personality was two friends. I chose this because I am a great friend and a very easy going person if you’re nice to me. My favorite book experience.......well that would have to be the book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne. Any thing I want eh?!? Choose the 4-h pledge. I chose this because I know the whole thing by heart. So that's me!!!
