A Great Theme

The theme of the story "The Djinn Who Lives Between Night and Day" is don't immediately trust people you don't know. It applies to the story because Tayab was evil and he was tricking a woman. He said that if he did something for her he would bring her children back to life, but the fact was he didn't have magic. He was a normal human being like everyone else. She trusted him and he betrayed her because he did not have the power. It applies to real life because if someone told you that they could do something that seemed impossible, would you believe them. I definitely wouldn't and I wouldn't do what they wanted me to do either.
