Dear Freshy,
How was eighth grade? Did you like it? Are you ready for a new grade? Don't Worry, ninth grade is easy. You have to remember to get your homework in on time, and get your projects done fast. Sometimes you get extra credit if you're early on certain things, so don't hold things off.
Next, don't forget to study for tests. The tests get extremely hard. Depending on what math your taking, it's a lot different from last year. If you are taking geometry, remember to go to peer tutoring if you need help. A lot of the things you do in math gets confusing, so stay alert.
Finally, as you progress throughout the year, there are a lot of things due at once. At one point in the year you will have three projects due at once! Also, Homeworks aren't usual, but when they are, you need to hand them in for the credit.
That is what you should try to do to help you in ninth grade.

Do you like music? Do you like good music? Have you ever heard of Rise Agaisnst?
Rise Against is not only a band, it's a way of life. They teach us many things. One thing they teach us is not to treat each other wrong, just because they are different. In the song "Hero of War" it says "we beat him with guns and batons, not just once but again and again." This song teaches us not to be wrong to a person just because os their differences.
Also, Rise Against has a lot of things about love too. The song "Savior" by Rise Against is a song not only about love, but life as well. The song says "It kills me not to know this, but I've all but just forgotten what the color of her eyes were, and her scars and how she got them." this song says a lot about people and life. It also says that he cared about her, but he had to let her go. In the song he cared for her a lot and now he had to let her go because he loved her.
Finally, Rise Against tells us not to just hold in our feelings. In the song "Strength to Go on," it says "Let us open up our hearts without fear for anything." This song shows that no matter what people say or do, we gotta let our feelings show. Also, when it mentions that, it says that people are going to judge you. You could do anything to stop it but people will judge you.
That is how Rise Against is great.

Do you like February? How about Valentines day? Do you like football? In February, there are a lot of things to do. February is the month of valentines day, where many couples get each other stuff to symbolize their love for each other.
February is the month where the weather changes from really cold to warmer weather. Next, every four years there is a leap year, where the month of February gains an extra day. A person born on February 29 will have one birthday every four years.
February is the time where football season ends. The Superbowl happens in February, many people are anticipating both the Superbowl, and the end of Winter. Finally, February is a month where Phil the groundhog comes out to see the end of winter. February is a month with many things.

Do you like snow? How about Christmas? So you must like December! What I like about December is the weather. A lot of times you get snow or sometimes its just cold outside. I like to throw snowballs or snowboard. Also the beginning of winter starts and that pretty much means cool weather outside.
Christmas!! With Christmas people get presents and sit around, but christmas is more than just presents. With Christmas its about family and friends. Also at the end of Christmas and the end of December means the beginning of the new year. For some the new year is just another year but for some the next year is for more than that!
