Sing it out "Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone." This quote is from the song “Love Story” by Taylor swift. This relates to Romeo and Juliet because they have to go some where, where it’s just them so no one finds out. I think this song matches Romeo and Juliet by the lyrics in the song. Not all songs can compare to Rome and Juliet's relationship, but I think this one does a very good job.

First of all this song relates to Romeo and Juliet by many different lyrics in the song. One of the first would be, "We were both young when I first saw you." This relates to the story because Juliet was only about 14 when she had met Romeo.

Another lyric line would be, "On a balcony in summer air." This relates to when Romeo climbed up the tree to see Juliet. "See the lights; see the party, the ball gowns. See you make your way through the crowd, and say hello. Little did I know that you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles, and my daddy said stay away from Juliet." This compares to when Romeo and Juliet had met at the Capulet party Romeo and snuck into. It also relates that Juliet’s dad doesn't want Romeo (a Montague) anywhere near Juliet. This is a pretty accurate for an allusion.

Almost every single line has the ability to be compared to Romeo and Juliet. There may be one or two lines that don't relate to them, but the rest do. This is probably one of the best songs to compare the story to.

"Marry me Juliet you'll never have to be alone. I love you, and that's all I really know.” The song “Love Story” by Taylor Swift relates to Romeo and Juliet in so many different ways.
