This year we will find out who the citizen of the year is for every class in washington. It is really fun this time of the year because we dont have any homework and we get to do all these fun activites. When we voted for who gets to be citizen of the year it came down to kd,tc,and me sg. I can't what when the 6th of june comes then i will know.

This is a really old compass! It was made in 1941 for the air force. My dad let me bring it in for the american pickers contest. He got it from his dad who got it from his dad. My grandpa was in the air force so I thought he used it, but I found out that he never really used it in the air force. So I thought maybe my great grandpa might have used it while he fought in WW2. Did my great grandpa use this compass while WW2, maybe I will find out in the future.

1. It made me feel like I could be myself in public.
2. It also taught me to stand up for myself.
3. It made me think of the Golden Rule - treat people the way you want to be treated.
4. I learned that I can stick up for my friends when they need me the most.
