Weathering produces change in the surface of rocks. Erosion is the process that breaks things down.
A small rock fell from the cliff which caused the cliff to crumble into tiny rocks.
2 The monument was a very beautiful structure when it was built. After years of rain the water ate the monument it has and it was a very obvious that the monument changed color.
