mso-ansi-language:EN-US">Today I went to the Naches Valley Middle School to learn about 5th grade. When I was there, I learned about In House. In House is a place where you go for the rest of the day if you get in trouble, you also get a referral that you get to take home for your parents to sign. I also learned where the library, P.E. room, band room, the cafeteria, and where other places were too. There are 2 ladies in the office. One for late slips and the other to give notes to. There is a counselor’s office too; she is the lady you talk to if you have a problem. The vice principle’s office is right next to her room. Mr. Rindt is the vice principle’s name and Mr. Hilmis is the principle’s name. I also learned how to open a locker…trust me it is hard! We partnered up with Mr. Hevland’s 5th grade students who showed us where everything was and how to open a locker. Courtney was my partner’s name. Well if I don’t know where something is when I go into 5th grade, I’ll as my friends! Wish me good luck in 5th grade!

Land and Water Science Unit

Do you remember how I told you about Electricity Science? Well my class and I just got finished a land and water science unit. What we did is well first of all we got colors. I was purple, Elizabeth was green, Dante was red, Wendy was blue and so was Gregory. Each time we did a diffrent expirement, the colors would rotate on the chart. The colors represented what jon we did. One job was land and water, one job was materials, one job was water, and the last job was the bucket person. The land a water job was to go get get the tub that we did our expirements in. The materials person got the materials we used to do the expirements. The water person gets the waterbottle and then fills it up to where we are supposed to fill it up to. There is a plug at the bottom of the tub to fill a hole up and when we take the plug out, the bucket person holds the bucket underneath the hole since we use water. My favorite expirement we did was when we made it rain inside the tub. we did that by putting plastic over the tub and then we put a rubberband on the sides of the tub where the plastic was so that the pastic could stay on. then we put an ice-pack on the plastic to make it moist inside the tub. Then we tapped the plastic and then little drops fell from the plastic. That was a very fun science unit. I wish that it could be longer.

Do you want to know a few things about leprchauns? If you thought yes, then keep reading. First of all you should know not to take your eyes off one for a second or he'll dissapear! Leprchauns are Irish elves you know and they pull pranks, are tricky, and if you don't wear green on St.Patrick's day, they'll pinch you so watch out!! Leprachauns are also very greedy and will bribe you with a pot o' gold to let him go.Leprachauns are also shoe makers so you might sometimes call them mini cobblers too! If you hear tiny little hammers tapping that mean you may be very close to one! You can make Leprachaun traps out of everything but be sure to have and decorate with the following items listed below: #1. Rainbow
#2.Gold coins or coins
#3.4 leaf clover
#4. Old shoe
#5.They like lucky charms

mso-ansi-language:EN-US">Do you know what freerice.com is? Well if not, I'll tell you about freerice.com. Freerice is a website for donating rice to homeless children that are African (I think) every question you get right. When you donate it fills up a bowl with rice and every question you get right it fills up the bowl with 10 grains of rice. By the way, you can give up to millions of grains of rice! On freerice you get to sign up, add friends to your account, and even start your own group that people can join (if they have an account) You can choose from many different activities, like Math, Grammar, English, and a few more. For an example of Grammar, it asks what a word means and it gives you 4 answers to choose from and if you get it wrong it says, say the word is fat and you choose skinny it will say: Incorrect! Fat = Plump! So if you get it wrong it won't give you rice it will say try again and a few questions later you can try again. Well that's all I can remember bye!

It's almost the end of the 3rd quarter already! Since it's almost the end of the 3rd quarter, I'm going to tell you some of the things I've learned. One of the things that I've learned how to do is how to use a flipcam so my class could video and post videos on schooltube.com. Another thing I've learned is how to do the ABC's and The Pledge of Alegience in sign language. One more thing I've learned how to do is how to use notebook software. Notebook Software is an icon where you can record, draw, and make short movies. This has been a fun year and I hope to keep it that way. Bye!

ATTENTION: Don't brag unless you really want to hurt someone's feelings. If you brag it will sure hurt mine because if I don't get something I really wanted but someone else does and they brag soooooo much about it would almost make me cry. So if you do brag so much bad things will happen like I'll tell the teacher. Here is the message: Do Not Brag otherwise it will hurt someones feelings who don't get what you got!

Hey everyone guess what? It’s snowing! Yay! Finally it started snow it hasn’t snowed hardly at all this year!! Did you know that there are different types of snow? Here are the ones I know of: the kind you roll into balls, the one that is in packs, the dry sparkly kind, and goose feathers. Here are the kinds you eat that I know of: snow cones and white snow. I love snow cones they are delicious! Here are some of the things you can do with snow: you can make a snow person, make a fort, or even make a giant snowball and then put a tiny snowball by it and compare the sizes of them. The activities I love to to do most are go sledding or tubing. The weather of snow is mostly wet and cold. Comment and tell me what you know about snow! :D

What I Want For Christmas

What I want for Christmas is Monster high dolls. What I would do with them is watch videos of Monster High at Monster High.com and them copy the videos with my dolls. Monster High dolls are kids that go to a special school just for monsters because well they're all monsters! I would like them so much if I got one! I already got ONE before but I don't think that ONE is ver y many! I got Cleo De Nile for my birthday. I mean she's fun in all but it's not that fun with just one monster high doll besides, her hair had silver streaks in it, but after I played with her a while her streaks got frizzy. There is other stuff I want for Christmas, but I thought one was enough to share. So bye!

(This is not a true story) One day my friend Raini and I were really bored at our jungle house, so we went to find a pet. First, we tried to do a tiger but it almost killed us, then we tried an alligator but it tried to eat us! Then we almost gave up, but a monkey came! So the monkey went ooo ooo aa, and we picked up the monkey and it gave us an instant hug! We named her Banana because every time we picked up a banana, she grabbed it right of our hand! One day we went to the jungle to look around, when we came back there were banana peels and bananas everywhere! So we just laughed and put Banana in her room for the night and gave her 100 bananas and when we got up in the morning, the bananas when just peels! We had a great laugh and had more adventures with Banana than you can imagine! Wait for Chapter 2 Of The Great Monkey's Adventure!

The friends I'm going to talk about names are Raini and Kalaina. They are really fun to hang out with. I mostly hang out with Raini because we both play on the rings (monkeys bars). I sometimes also play with Candace though. Then today I played with Raini and Kalaina. We jump roped. While I wrote this Raini and Kalania were sitting next to me. Kalaina put her hand on my chair and I leaned back on it! We had a good laugh! Also I just made Kalaina pop her wrist! Okay this is a really funny because I meant to bite my hair but...well... I just...uh bit me headphones! (not on purpose) Oh my gosh I'm so scared! A kid named Kyle, just started singing randomly and it was a girl song! (I think) My neck is strong that Kalaina made her fingers pop! So I hope you think of them as really nice!!

I bet you want to know about the time I went to Mosses Lake Water Park. Well One day my parents went t work and I had swim lessons. So my friend Maddi, her brother, and their mom took me to swim lessons. After my swim lessons,we went to Mosses Lake Water Park! I was super excited! At Mosses Lake Water park there was a kiddie pool and an older kid pool. There is also a giant mushroom too that pours out water from the top (bigger than anyone there and plastic). Did I tell you there is 2 slides? Well I guess I didn't but there is 2 slides. One slide is a double slide so you can race with your friends if you want! One the other slide there is like a dip inside the slide, so when you about to land you don't land normaly. You shoot out! I have 3 favorites about Mosses Lake Water Park. 1. I love to go on both diving boards ecuse is ten feet high! Guess what? I went on the the on the ten feet high one! But the other board is only like 5 feet. I still went on that one though. 2. My second favorite is the lazy river. You sit on an inertube (some inertubes are double to go with a friend) then just foat along a little pool then there are 3 things that pour water on you. 3. My third favorite is the boogie boarding! You can boogie board and one other thing but the only way you'll be able to find out is if you go on summer break! Comment if you've been there before

I am grateful for my awesome freedom because I am glad I don't have to do slavery. I love freedom because I am free to go any school, restroom, restraunt, even drinking fountains!!! I am glad so I can be friends with blacks. I also don't have to die if i want to sleep a little later in the morning and not work all day and night doing slavery. I am free to go to any place for vacation, wear any types of clothing,or buy any house that I work for. One example is that when Martin Luther King Jr. I was very very happy about that=http://!!
Today and always, I am also grateful for my great frieds because the care for me. I also like my great friends because the support me when I vote for something (like voting for freedom or new presedent) or if I got into a fight they would say like maybe just leave them alone they're not very friendly. I like my friends because they are creative, they like what I like, then sometimes we will style their outfit or hair really silly but say it's really pretty!!! :D That would be funny. One example is that one time my friend Raini and I were having real fun with her pet kitten and when she runs off it's fun to try to catch her!!

Hi everyone! Our class just skyped with another class! You would know what I mean if you've read my other blog about skyping with Mrs. Green. Mr. Ferguson's class is very different from our class though. They get snowboard, ski, and ice skate every Friday for six weeks in the winter. They are also three hours ahead of us so it's only ten something here when they leave school. We also have fruit while they have dairy orchards. We have Mrs. Butter worth while they have fresh from a tree syrup. They have grilled cheese while we have cheese zombies. They only have 14 kids in their class, we have 27. We have four 4th grade classes while they just have one 4th grade class. There are also some similarities. We are both 4th grade. It is also cold there right now just like here. We are also both in small communities. That makes me just can't wait to see them again!!

Hi if you don't have conflict managers then you're about to find out about them. Do you know what a conflict is? If not, it's a fight between 2 or more people. So if you notice we are called conflict managers which means we manage the fight. First the conflict managers introduce each other by saying," Hi my name is Justine and this is my partner Raini would you like us to help you solve your problem?" So if 1 one person says "no" then we'll ask,"What do you think will happen if you don't solve the problem?" Then we reask. If they still stay no, then we just leave. But if they say yes we ask both to describe the problem and then we restate the problem .Then we ask what more can they add to the problem. So then that's when we brainstorm (think of ideas) some solutions to their problem. Then they will agree to one. So then they have to sign their names on a sheet of paper. At the end we congratulate them. Thanks for reading!

Monkeys are my favorite animal! If I see one I will want to just grab it and squeeze it super tight! There are many types of monkeys. My favorite monkey is a sock monkey. Monkeys like bananas. Some monkeys live at the zoo. But monkeys live in other places too. The can live in the desert or rain forset. Some people have monkeys as pets. Monkeys like to groom each other by picking bugs off of one another. (warning: monkeys can sometimes be very gross and through poop at one another or people!) If you show your teeth at monkeys they can get very crazy and mad! So be careful. (please comment if you have a pet monkey)

I had soooo much fun, I rode my pony Peanut (You can read about her on my blog of her), I went to Disneyland, went to te beach, saw Shrek the Musical, and spent time with my Grandma's cats. My Grandma's cat's names are George, Hyde, Lil' Bit, and she has 3 new kittens...but I don't know her names. But they are very cute. So anyway I went to Disney land and California Adventure. Oh I for got, I went to my friend's house and spent time with her horses. Of course I started school during the end of summer. Then on my flight home from my summer vacation I was sad. But my summer was still awesome! Tell me if you think my summer was awesome!

One Cristmas (Cristmas 2010) I opened my stocking first...it was heavy and I wondered why is this so heavy the I opened it and I got a red and pink sock monkey! Her name is Strawberry Sock Monkey. She is so fun to be with...she is my favorite stuffed animal ever!! When I am sad or lonely I go grab my sock monkey and hug her. She always makes me feel better. She has red hair an her hat is partly broken...the stitching came off that conects it to her forehead. But the one in the back of her head is still stitched. Even though she is partly broken on her stitching I still love her! Guess what I'm going to get a sister for her! But her sister is older and she will be 3ft tall! Her sister will also be pink! I wish I had all of the sock monkeys in the world! If you have, want, or had an expirence tell me on comment.

Volcanos are all around the world! Mt. Rainier is the one I know most about. Mt. Rainier is the tallest moutain in the lower 48 states. Mt. Rainier has 32 glaciers and makes her own clouds, her clouds look like mini tornados but they don't touch the ground and are not black...they are white and not fast. She is still active. But they don't know when she will erupt. She is the closest volcano to me. Did you know that there is so much snow on top of Mt. Rainier that it NEVER melts! Mt. St. Helens is another volcano. She erupted and blew her top off!! It erupted the big one on my mom's birthday! Volcanos are very cool to learn about. I love to learn about them. What do you think about volcanos? But sometimes they can be a little scary. :) Leave a comment and share what you like about volcanos! :)

Have you ever been to Disneyland's California Adventure? If you have, did you ever go on the Tower of Terror? Well if not it is very fun. (warning if you are afraid of heights or falls do not go on it). The Tower of Terror has a video to explain it all. Also it tells you to wave goodbye to the real world, so your sitting in the "elevator" and so you wave into a mirror and the guy says,"Wave goodbye to the real world" so then fake lightning hits the mirror on both sides. So it takes you up to the top and drops you to the 1st floor then to the basement and it takes you up and down 3 times each. Then once you get off of it you might have your legs be shaking because once you drop it's freaky. The best part is you get a little view of California Adventure!!! Hope you'll want to go on it!!! :)

Hi, it's me Justine again I'm here to tell you about my pony Peanut. She is very stubborn but then I hit her neck... or her bum it doesn't help at all. When I ride her I can canter her... for those who don't know what canter means, it is he stage before trot and trot is after walk...here is the order walk, trot, canter, and gallop. Peanut does sort of bite she bites feet and bites other horses and your knees. I got bit on my foot by Peanut. She is fun to ride...she HATES fly spray. She eats hay, treats, flowers, grass,an butterflies. That is the weird thing. She lives with my grandma and grandpa. She had a baby mule (half donkey and half horse) but it didn't make it :( . The sad thing is I got a donkey magnet that day :(. I hope you like Peanut. :)

Hi, my name is Justine and I am in Mrs.Black's 4th grade class. I like to play with my friends and play with barbies. So far I have learned that my teacher is good with computers. When I was 2 I had a dog named Otis and a cat named Alice. But now I am 9 and I have one miniature pony and her name is Peanut...she is very stubborn sometimes. My favorite place to be is in Disneyland! It is so fun there! My favorite foods are pickles, apple pies, and shrimp stir fry! My favorite movie is Pirates of the Carribean. My favorite book is Warriors. My favorite color is pink because it is just so pretty.I'm very sad though because I can't do the rings and the monkey bars anymore at school...lol. My favorite video game is Lego Pirates of the Carribean. I wish I could go to Hawaii. If I got 2 wishes I would choose to live in Hawaii and to have lots and lots of money. My favorie TV shows, are Spongebob Squarepants, Invader Zim,The Fairly Odd Parents,Wizards of Waverly Place, and Victorious. I hope you like my sharing about me. :) It would make me smile if you commented but you don't have to.
