mso-ansi-language:EN-US">Today I went to the Naches Valley Middle School to learn about 5th grade. When I was there, I learned about In House. In House is a place where you go for the rest of the day if you get in trouble, you also get a referral that you get to take home for your parents to sign. I also learned where the library, P.E. room, band room, the cafeteria, and where other places were too. There are 2 ladies in the office. One for late slips and the other to give notes to. There is a counselor’s office too; she is the lady you talk to if you have a problem. The vice principle’s office is right next to her room. Mr. Rindt is the vice principle’s name and Mr. Hilmis is the principle’s name. I also learned how to open a locker…trust me it is hard! We partnered up with Mr. Hevland’s 5th grade students who showed us where everything was and how to open a locker. Courtney was my partner’s name. Well if I don’t know where something is when I go into 5th grade, I’ll as my friends! Wish me good luck in 5th grade!

Do you remember how I told you about Electricity Science? Well my class and I just got finished a land and water science unit. What we did is well first of all we got colors. I was purple, Elizabeth was green, Dante was red, Wendy was blue and so was Gregory. Each time we did a diffrent expirement, the colors would rotate on the chart. The colors represented what jon we did. One job was land and water, one job was materials, one job was water, and the last job was the bucket person. The land a water job was to go get get the tub that we did our expirements in. The materials person got the materials we used to do the expirements. The water person gets the waterbottle and then fills it up to where we are supposed to fill it up to. There is a plug at the bottom of the tub to fill a hole up and when we take the plug out, the bucket person holds the bucket underneath the hole since we use water. My favorite expirement we did was when we made it rain inside the tub. we did that by putting plastic over the tub and then we put a rubberband on the sides of the tub where the plastic was so that the pastic could stay on. then we put an ice-pack on the plastic to make it moist inside the tub. Then we tapped the plastic and then little drops fell from the plastic. That was a very fun science unit. I wish that it could be longer.

Do you want to know a few things about leprchauns? If you thought yes, then keep reading. First of all you should know not to take your eyes off one for a second or he'll dissapear! Leprchauns are Irish elves you know and they pull pranks, are tricky, and if you don't wear green on St.Patrick's day, they'll pinch you so watch out!! Leprachauns are also very greedy and will bribe you with a pot o' gold to let him go.Leprachauns are also shoe makers so you might sometimes call them mini cobblers too! If you hear tiny little hammers tapping that mean you may be very close to one! You can make Leprachaun traps out of everything but be sure to have and decorate with the following items listed below: #1. Rainbow
#2.Gold coins or coins
#3.4 leaf clover
#4. Old shoe

mso-ansi-language:EN-US">Do you know what freerice.com is? Well if not, I'll tell you about freerice.com. Freerice is a website for donating rice to homeless children that are African (I think) every question you get right. When you donate it fills up a bowl with rice and every question you get right it fills up the bowl with 10 grains of rice. By the way, you can give up to millions of grains of rice! On freerice you get to sign up, add friends to your account, and even start your own group that people can join (if they have an account) You can choose from many different activities, like Math, Grammar, English, and a few more. For an example of Grammar, it asks what a word means and it gives you 4 answers to choose from and if you get it wrong it says, say the word is fat and you choose skinny it will say: Incorrect! Fat = Plump! So if you get it wrong it won't give you rice it will say try again and a few questions later you can try again. Well that's all I can remember bye!

It's almost the end of the 3rd quarter already! Since it's almost the end of the 3rd quarter, I'm going to tell you some of the things I've learned. One of the things that I've learned how to do is how to use a flipcam so my class could video and post videos on schooltube.com. Another thing I've learned is how to do the ABC's and The Pledge of Alegience in sign language. One more thing I've learned how to do is how to use notebook software. Notebook Software is an icon where you can record, draw, and make short movies. This has been a fun year and I hope to keep it that way. Bye!

ATTENTION: Don't brag unless you really want to hurt someone's feelings. If you brag it will sure hurt mine because if I don't get something I really wanted but someone else does and they brag soooooo much about it would almost make me cry. So if you do brag so much bad things will happen like I'll tell the teacher. Here is the message: Do Not Brag otherwise it will hurt someones feelings who don't get what you got!

Hey everyone guess what? It’s snowing! Yay! Finally it started snow it hasn’t snowed hardly at all this year!! Did you know that there are different types of snow? Here are the ones I know of: the kind you roll into balls, the one that is in packs, the dry sparkly kind, and goose feathers. Here are the kinds you eat that I know of: snow cones and white snow. I love snow cones they are delicious! Here are some of the things you can do with snow: you can make a snow person, make a fort, or even make a giant snowball and then put a tiny snowball by it and compare the sizes of them. The activities I love to to do most are go sledding or tubing. The weather of snow is mostly wet and cold. Comment and tell me what you know about snow! :D
