My scientist is Thomas Edison his invention was the light bulb. This helped people because they could just buy light bulbs instead of oil for oil lamps.

Summer of the Swans is a great book. This story is mostly about a girl named Sara and how she hates herself. Another part in the book is when Sara loses her brother. I would recommend this book to many people I know because this is one great book!

My scientist was Benjamin Franklin. He helped discover electricity. This made life easier because people would not have to light lanterns all the time.
