If I had to ever face that my reaction would be to cry because its pretty much like being bullied and people can say hurtful things. I would have never been able to go to that school if that kept happening to me. In the world today things have changed a lot since then because you don’t see as many people being as mean as them and kids of any color can go to places they want.

Albert Einstein

Article posted March 1, 2012 at 12:17 AM GMT • comment • Reads 688

Im writing about Albert Einstein’s Quote which is “If you never made a mistake you never tried something new.”

This makes me feel:
Inspired like a student is inspired by a teacher
Happy like I can catch a mystical creature
Filled with hope
Like I cant say nope
Making mistakes isn’t a bad thing
Like I can fly by a swing
Trying new things is great Making mistakes is fate

Cell Science

Article posted February 23, 2012 at 12:53 AM GMT • comment • Reads 785

Cells are made up of different parts just like our body except they have different names for the body parts and they work in a different way. So far in this unit I have had some trouble memorizing the meaning of the part of the cell but since I have been studying I’ve been doing better. A good thing in this unit so far is I get to learn how cells work and what they do to help the body. Also in this unit we looked at some things under a microscope and seeing the cells in it.

as big as a brick
inside my red and green house
past my lawn until the front door
between neighbors
around the silver taped to the ground fence
beneath stars
after going on highway 24 then past the big Safeway
over the great big mountains
on street Woodland Avenue
with a variety of shades of grey as soft as silk
over wildly ecstatic playful
without doubt amazing

The Hunger Games

Article posted February 8, 2012 at 01:34 AM GMT • comment • Reads 680

Recently I have been reading "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins and its about this girl named Katniss and how she has to compete in these games where survival is the answer. Right now I think the book is in between disliking and liking because Katniss only cares about herself and that bugs me but other than that I am LOVING the book. It has so much suspense which I like.

Zignut

Article posted February 5, 2012 at 08:11 PM GMT • comment • Reads 761

I have a cat and its name is Zignut. I named her Zignut because when I got her as a kitten she was crazy and so I wanted to call her zigzag but my mom wanted to name her peanut and my step dad wanted to name her walnut so the choices were Peazag, Walzag, or Zignut. I choose Zignut because I thought it was the coolest. Today Zignut is still crazy.

Quote

Article posted January 18, 2012 at 12:47 AM GMT • comment • Reads 736

I chose “ Believe you can and your half way there.” by Theodore Roosevelt. I think this means that if you believe in yourself to do something it can really happen and your already starting why stop now. This applies to my life because I always tell myself to keep trying in band or in academic classes because I have to give myself confidence to finish it. I think it could be used to change someone’s attitude because if they give themselves confidence they can change a grade and they will be able to change all bad grades to good grades. It could give the world and impact because they will believe that if they truly believe in themselves it can really happen and it would change the world.

My goal for 2012 are to improve on humanities because I have a struggle remembering the years of when things happened. This involves change because I have to study more if I want to get a better grade and I have to make that a study plan which changes my regular study schedule.

Group Project

Article posted January 2, 2012 at 06:42 AM GMT • comment • Reads 745

Doing the group project went good but sometimes I don’t like working in groups on the computer because it gets hard to remember to reply back to everyone and be on the same track as them because they might be in different spots then you. Also I don’t like being in groups because when I want a good grade I want to do the project my way to get an A and sometimes when people in the group don’t work that reflects on my grade.

Greece

Article posted December 11, 2011 at 03:50 PM GMT • comment • Reads 1252

First in don’t really know about Greece. In my past I haven’t learned anything about it.

In class we chose city-states which were Spartans, Athens, Argos, Megara and Corinth. My group chose to be Athens. So in class we are competing against each other to win. All the other groups are suppose to beat Athens and Sparta because we are the big city-states and the only goal they have is to beat us at everything. Sparta is at least suppose to beat Athens and Athens are suppose to win over Sparta. At the end of class we role dice to see what our fait is and if its good we get points. If its not good we loose points.
