 Mystery Madness A great example of a beginning to a mystery story is: As the thief sneaks into the museum, the alarm goes off! Stealthily the robber grabs his prize, a twenty-four karat gold ring, and dashes out the now broken window. As the cops look for the thief, the thief is long gone and was never to be found.
