My project is coming along great! I finished all my 3d objects. I learned a lot about Japanese clothing. I am ready for the fair. I think I did a great job and am ready to show it off. Also, I'm excited to see everyone else's projects.

I thought that International towne was a fun experience. It was fun to act like an adult for a day. I learned how to be a judge, as part of the tribunal. I wouldn't change anything. The best part was break time because I got to "travel" around other countries.

I am so happy it is almost summer time! 7th grade was a fun year. I enjoyed having great teachers on team 743 and the exploratory teachers. My grades were successful and soccer team had a successful season also. I wouldn't change anything, it was a great year.I learned new things about the human body that I didn't know before. I also, learned that I need to try my best on everything I do. In 8th grade I want to change the fact that I didn't do all my blogs on time, if we have blogs, I want them all on time. A little piece of advise for thoughs new 7th graders is to have fun but at the same time be ready to learn and always do your best at everything you do.

This year has flown by! During the year I have made new friends, kept good grades, and stayed fit. I have accomplished these goals by keeping my priorities straight. I had an excellent birthday party with good friends. I went on the most amazing vacation ever! I had my first dissection; the frog. I learned how to be a president for International Towne. I learned how to make my own clip art in Mrs. Clementi's class.

Chicken Wings

I was on vacation the week that my class dissected the chicken wing. Although, I missed doing the wing, I did think that the frog was fun to dissect. It was really cool to see all of the inside things. If I had done this, I think I would have learned what interesting things were inside a chicken wing. The purpose in doing this was to learn how to dissect things. Also, we did this to show want they had in common with humans according to the wing and arm.

Discrimination

My reaction after watching The Ernest Green Story was: how in the world would people have the guts and the hatred to treat another human that way? If I had been at school and saw someone being that mean to another I would ask what and why they were doing what they were doing. I probably would not have the courage to fight back; I would most likely switch back to my old school. Things have changed with discrimination with blacks from whites.

During this quarter in gym we did a unit in basketball. Grizzly madness is like a real basketball turnament. You have to do research on information about the team you are representing. Although you and your team have some research you get to play basketball.

"Do your job." Bill Belichick
Do your job means many things
You have to do it so get it right
At work, school, or at a sporting event
Do it right here right now
You don't always have time to go back and fix
So get it done
In school you might get time to redo it
At work you have it hereand now or your fired
In sports you must practice so you can get the game win

In science we are learning about cells. It is interesting how tiny little organisms make up our bodies. The best part, I think, was when we got to look at all the organisms under the micro-scope. The wors tpart was the test, but hey, all tests are not very fun.

Believe in Yourself

"Believe you can and your halfway there." Theodore Roosevelt. I like this saying because I apples to life and everything involved in it. If you say 'I can't do this' then you can't, but with a positive attitude you can acomplish anything you want. Sometimes people say they can't do things, but if you beleieve you can complete the task. Believing can also make someone else's day better. A friend might think they aren't good enough to do what they need to do, but anyone has the "power" to help someone accomplish anything.

The Crown
Below the blue sky
Beyond the moat
Across the majestic river
In the beautiful land
Within the castle walls
Among the sleeping dragons
Over the golden floor
Beneath the scary dungeon
Near the kings thrown
Down the tower
From the royal parents
To the lucky daughter
On the princess's head

My goals for this year are to get better grades then last year, save money, and get more fit. I will get better grades by doing my school work before everything else. Saving money will be the easiest, because all the money I get will be put in the bank. Staying fit/becoming more fit wont be to hard with 3 days of soccer a week and going on early morning runs.

I think that the teachers should have givin one partner, from the same classs they were in, which would make it alot easier to comunicate. Also, I think that the project would have had better grade results if we didn't work with the out of state poeple. They were unable to work at school and most of the time didn't work at home, leaving all the work on the students at MRMS. Next year if I was the teachers I make sure everyone was on the wiki at the same time, so all the teammates would be at the same point in the project.

Patriots and Broncos. Tim Tebow and Tom Brady are going to have to both try as hard as they can to beat the other team. The Broncos are going to have to open up for good balls down the field. The Patriots have to get their deffence together. I hope the Patriots win!

Greece

In Greece the women were not treated very well. In some city states they were treated better then others. For example, Spartan women were aloud to own and sell land, however, Athene women were not aloud to. Also, most Greeks believed in more then one god or goddess.
In humanities we choose our city-states, made our symbol, learned the Greek alphabet, and read a little in the text book. Though this section, I have learned that the points are everything. If you don't have enough points you don't win, so it's very important to have all the points you can get.

Saying Thanks

I am thankful for my family, fiends, and soccer. One reason I am thankful for my family is that every member in it is athletic. My sister is always loud and crazy, my brother is funny and sometimes mean; but what can you expect form siblings. I am thankful for my friends because they make my day better. Without friends, I don't no who I would talk to and school would get boring. Last, but not least, I a thankful for soccer because it is a good sport if you like running and are athletic. I am also thankful for soccer because I get to be friends with my team mates, learn new skills, and soccer keeps me busy after school.

The best Mystery I have ever read is "The Speckled Band" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I like it because it was the first mystery story I read. Also, it keeps you wondering how to solve the story. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle did a great job with all the Sherlock Holmes stories.
I think a good mystery starter would be: One foggy day a tall, skinny women with long nails that were black, was suspected for kidnapping children.

I think that blogging is a good idea because we don"t have to hand write essay's. We can just type about a topic and turn it in, even on the weekends. Also, we don't have a minimum or maximum number or words or sentences. I haven't had any problems with blogging, and over all I think it is a good idea.I think a good topic for a blog would be what are your hobbies or something interesting and easy to write about.

When ever you see a veteran be sure to say "thank you." The United States veterans served our country. They are the people who slept in the dirt and woke up to gun fires. Veterans did extremely dangerous things to protect the U.S. citizens. They took their time to fight for us. They left their own families to go live in different countries for many months at a time.
I hope the feedback I get is good. Paragraph #2

Soccer Game!

One spring morning, I woke up early to drive up to Denver for a soccer game. This game was going amazing. My team was winning up until the half point when the opposite team started to catch up. At that time we were tied. I, being the amazing goalie that I am, was trying harder then ever to stop every ball they tried to score. I wasn't about to let them win. Then, came the penalty kick and there was barely a minute left in the game, my whole team was depending on me to stop this ball; to keep them from winning. When the girl came up to the line she kicked the soccer ball above me but I just barley stopped it from going into the net. Because of me, we won the game that day!

Ban Books??

I think banning books is a bad idea because banning a book is not going to stop someone else from reading it. If an author has the idea to write a book they should be allowed to write it. Americans have the freedom and rights to read what they want when they want. Banning a book may also make people want to read it more.

Last month we went on a field trip to fox run park. On the awesome field trip, my favorite part was when we played the game with Mrs. Lubich. I liked this game becuase it was fun and we learned team skills. The activities I enjoyed the most were making up a flower with special "powers" and when we went around the park doing team activities with each teacher. I learned that animals have to fight to get what they need in order to live.

Video one: The chef is incorrect because he is doing every crazy thing he can except correct multiplication. He even does addition wrong. If he had even added up the seven 13s correctly he would have had the right answer of 91.
Video two: The man is doing the same thing in this video as the chef in video one. He isn't multipling or dividding correctly. If he was doning the problem correct the answer would be 70.

The funniest thing that has ever happened to me was the time I tricked everyone. I found a rubber snake and put it in my parents bed. That night I heard a scream and the snake went flying out of their door. The next night they put the snake in my brothers room, yet again I saw the snake fly. The next night I got the snake, but instead of throwing it I kept it. I put the snake in my parents bed again the next night and saw it fly. The next day my parents told my brother to quit putting the snake in everyone's bed, although it had been me the whole time.

Rachel's Challenge

I think that the presentation got the point across very well. I don't think it is worthwhile because it is sad. The administrators could just tell the students to be kind and treat others the way you want to be treated. It is not needed to learn about a girls death; yet we should still learn to be kind to one and other. I don't think it is effective because most people don't want to hear about a girl who died 12 years ago. I took away to try and be like Rachel, by being kind and caring to everyone even if they have no friends or are being picked on by others. I am not going to change because I am not a bully, and I don't know anyone that is a bully so I could stick up for anyone.
