7th grade was amazing. I had a lot of fun. I feel that a lot of things went well for me this year like projects, homework, etc. I also think that not much went wrong throughout our past year. I learned many things but a few that stick out would be . I really wouldn't change much because again the year went really well. The one thing I think that I learned the hard way would be some time management but other than that I was good. Next year will be interesting for me because I may be homeschooled so I'm looking forward to that. For next year's 7th graders I will say this: Stay on top of the ball and you should be fine.

I-Towne was a really fun experience. I loved being able to work and take brakes. I particularly enjoyed going to other countries and exploring the Towne. I learned money and time management through working and shopping. I really thought selling the newspaper was fun and coming back with so much money. I would love to do I-Towne again.

With the research for the fair done, I have learned many things. I have learned, for one thing, that Romans didn't spend their lives too differently from ours. They did just about all the same things as we do today. They went to work or to clean the house. So do we, we just don't work in a shopping cart full of food. I have almost all of my project done. All I have left is to wrap up my 3D project and then finish my board. I'm looking forward to the fair.

I got a really fun surprise over spring break. We were going to the air port so my mom would know where to go to pick up my dad when he returned from Wisconsin. We went in because my dad said he had to use the bathroom. When we got in we started to look for a bathroom. Next my parents told me to look at something and what do you know. My aunt was coming down the escalator. So she stayed here about 4 days and we went sightseeing. What a surprise.

The chicken wing dissection was interesting. The skin was quite hard to get through and ours still had some feathers on it. I learned that tendons in chickens can be fragile. When the first person started to move them to move the wing, they broke. All in all I thought it was a really fun lab. The frog should be fun.

Red.
Red is the feeling of spice,
Red is the taste of fire.
Red is the color for people not nice,
Red is your face with a flat tire.
Red is your hearts in video games,
Red is the color of demons eyes.
Red is the color you see with pain,
Red are the spots on some ties.
Red is the color of my favorite shirt,
Red is the feeling of a rose peddle.
Red is the color of flowers on dirt,
Red are your cheeks with a golden meddle.
Red.

After watching this movie I felt proud that some kids had the courage to do this. I would not have had the courage, I would have stayed home or away. After seeing what some of the kids did to the nine, I defiantly would not have gone there anymore. There is a lot of "segregation" type thing going on today. We sometimes use race or looks. People with glasses or disabilities like handicapped people. If someone had glasses they might be called four-eyes.

In science we have been studying cells. Some things/avtivities that we have done are: Labs like looking at them, videos, and woorksheets(Not my favorite). Cells are made up of many different parts that make it up. For instance, the nucleius is the controle room for the cell. So far I have loved getting to check the cells out and move around.

Through the front door, over the living room carpet,
Up the winding staircase, under that old fishing net.
Around the wooden chair, across the long hall,
Up into the vent, out through the wall.
Toward the bathroom, on the sink,
Above the dog, among the toys that tink.
Beyond the bathroom, after the old shed,
Into my bedroom, in the little cats bed.
This is the preposition poem that I created.

Some of the books I have read latly are the Harry Potter books. Although I am still on book 5, I have had many requests for other books to read I don't know how I will get them all done. I current plan is to finish Harry Potter and then go to the Hunger Games which everyone keeps telling me to read. I seem to be getting a little off topic so back on to the track. The book I'm in right now is the 5th Harry Potter. There hasen't been much action going on yet but after seeing the movies I think I am getting close to some.

This was a fun thing to do. I liked working with other kids that I don't really know. The video turned out to be really nice. I also liked how the webpage looks cool. It looks like there were a lot of things that went well during this. The only thing that I would have the teachers improve on is maby trying to add more time to work on the wiki. Other than that I think it went really well.

I don't kmow a lot about Greece exept how to spell it. I would like to learn though, what type of government did they use? What was their culture? What types of foods did they eat? These are the main questions I would like to have answered.
In class we are having fun playing out the roles of Greek people. We role dice for our faits, and we compete in games to win points. In Febuary, we are ending this and we will find out who is the big winner.

Three things that I am thankful for are:
My family because they are loving and nice. They have always loved me and always will.
My Great friends because they are just great. I have fun with them and they make my life better.
My two cats because they are always there for me. The world just wouldn't be the same without them.
One last note: Also keep in mind that I have many more things to be thankful for.

I think that the best mystery I've read is The Hound of the Baskervils. I actually have watched it the move. It is very suspenceful and I think that is what makes it my favorite. My starter for my mystery is this: It was a clear dark night. The moon was full and all was quiet. John Tippler was sitting in his study reading some letters when there came a knock at the door. John thought to himself, who culd it be at this hour? When he opened the door, he found a man, tall with black hair and wearing a pair of glasses.

I think this blogging is a really good way to connect with other schools and to get to know people better. I think it is also fun because I like computers and now I get to use one more often! I also think that there should be more chanses to write what we want so we can express our ideas.

My strongest paragraph is:
I have had the pleasure of meeting some of our contry's heroes. Speaking with them is a once in a life time experience. They could recall the events in such detail as though it happened yesterday.Their descriptions are better then anything you can read in any book. They are walking history lessns.
Please leave comments on my writing!

On October 31st, the U.N. says that the 7th billon person will be born. The population was only 6 billon 12 years ago. They also expect it to be only about 14 years till we hit 8 billon people on our planet. With this incline of people the demand for resorses will rise. I think that with 8 billon people just around the corner, we may need to find more resorses and fast. We also might need to expand our living areas. It will be hard to find a quiet place soon.

Right now I am reading the Harry Potter series. I am on the fourth one, The Goblet of Fire. I like that there is not much going on right now, but there is a mystery surrounding who is picking the contestants for the tournament. All in all it is really good.

Well this was a fun experience all together, but my favorite part would be the team activities. I really had fun working together, and having fun at the same time. I also liked the play time beacause I got to spend time with a new friend! In the first parts, before lunch, I learned how plants have adapted over time and how animals use camoflauge to blend in with their surroundings. All in all, I had a lot of fun.

I am half and half on this. I agree that some books should be banned, like adult books, but I also think that we have a right to read these books. I think that if a parent dosen't like a book, then don't let their kid read it. All the other kids in the school aren't their ,responsibility it's up to their parents if they can read those books or not. With freedom of speach in there, the parents are allowed to speak up and if the schools agree, then I belive that they can be banned if both the school and the parent agrees to.

Have you ever had a "birday"? When I was in Alabama, and turned 11 we ordered my cake, and the people there wrote "Happy Birday" instead of "Happy Birthday". So each year, my family sings "Happy Birday" on my birthday.

For Rachel’s Challenge I believe that it is something good to have come to our school each year. I think it is a great way to learn and its something that people will remember. I can make a difference in this by doing as Rachel did, I can be nice and a good friend. I can love others as equals, and most importantly, I can start a chain reaction. What I took away from this is knowledge of what happened, and what I can do to make a difference.
