“My Favorite Mystery”
I have only read a few mystery books and if I could choose which I like better I would say “Encyclopedia Brown.” I would choose this because when ever you read one of his there are a lot of red herrings in his stories. I also like his mysteries because there is not a single mystery that he can’t solve. Over all he just has very good mystery books. and that is “My Favorite Mystery.”

“Blogging”
This is just my opinion but I believe that blogging is better than having hand written assignments because when you are typing it is not as easy to get a cramp in your hand. Another reason that I would choose blogging over hand written assignments is I feel like they are more challenging then typing. The concluding reason that I would rather blog than hand wright is because it is more fun.

Always Remember
Why is it important to always remember the Veterans and current soldiers? It is important to always remember the Veterans and current soldiers because of all they have done for our country. Some examples of what they do are when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and we fought back to make sure this never happened. Because we fought back this has not ever happened since. Another example is when we figured out that Binladon was responsible for the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. When this happened our soldiers did everything in their power to make sure that we captured him and punished him for what he and his people did. These are the reasons that we should always remember our veterans and current troupes.

Current Book
Currently I am reading the book named MATILDA by Roald Dahl. The thing that I am like most about this book is that the movie is nothing like the book so if you saw the movie first then when you read the book you are all confuised about some of the sceens and where they take place. An example of this is when matilda puts the super glue in her fathers hat. This event in the book takes place in the home of the Wormwoods, but in the movie this takes place in the work place of her father. All in all as far as I have gotten this is a very good book.

My Choice
This week I am going to talk about Halloween. The topic of Halloween apperently is a very big deal. This week I have heard that most people are going trick or treating instead of haveing a party. I like most people am going trick or treating, and have to take my baby sister and cousin. The reason that I have to take my sister and cousin is because my mom thinks that I am too old to be trick or treating. Although, I am going to make the most out of it because I get all of there candy. This because they are too young to eat candy. Most kids my age would be bummed that that they have to take two 2 year olds trick or treating but I will not be. I think that it is rather awsome. I hope you guys and gals have fun.

Fox Run Field Trip
First of all, I would like to say that I think that field trips are an amazing way to get to know the other kids on your team that you don't see in class.
I believe that the best part of the field trip was when we had to figure out how to get from one island to another without touching the grass. It was challanging because we had to figure out how to get seven or more people from one island to the another that was like seven yards.
My favorite part of the field trip was when we did the camoflauge game with Mr. Howard. It was my favorite because I didn't get found at all.
What I learned on this field trip was that when the things that the enviorment needs to survive dies, so does the animal life.

Banned Books
Personaly I think that all books should be aloud in school. I think this because there are kids at schools who don't like reading books that are not gross, I am not one of those kids. But I thought that schools try to encourage kids to read but if schools don't provide books for all kids then what is the point in trying to make them read. This is olny my opinion. But seriously if schools want kids to read then they should get the books that we like. My mom told me that freedom of speach is protected by the goverment. This means that an author can wright what ever they want in there books but not every one has to agree with what they wright.

Silly Ways To Solve Math Problems
In the video the chef is kind of solving the problem correctly but it is not exactly the right way to solve the problem. I understand how he is trying to solve the problem. But if he were to use the ones as tens when he was adding he would have gotten the multiplication problem correct. Some other numbers that you can do this with are 13 & 7, 14 & 6, 15 & 5,or 16 & 4.If you where to us any of these problems and try to solve them the same way as the chef you would run into the same problem. In the second video the dad was trying to solve the problem the same way as the chef from the first video.

The Scariest Thing
The scariest thing that has ever happened to me was when I was 7 years old. It was the first time I had ever gone Trick or Treating by myself. I went to this really cool house that was all dressed up with fog and ghosts and stuff. When I got to the door I noticed a note that said “candy bowl by garage door.” So I walked to the garage door and there it was. When I turned around there was a man behind me. I was so scared that I screamed like a little girl, but then the man told me he was the owner of the house. So I told him thank you for the candy and went to the next house.

Rachel’s Challenge Experience
The things that I took away from the assembly are the fact that just because someone has hurt you does not mean you have to hurt anyone else.
