Christmas means a lot of things to me. It can mean that there’s a two-week break from school. Usually, my family stays at home and takes a long rest from school. This year, we are going to Lake Tahoe , although my parents said there may not be any snow. Christmas can mean presents. I like getting surprised by gifts. Santa’s gift is almost always the best present I get. Giving presents is also exciting for me since there’s a deadline of December 25th and that you have a secret you shouldn’t tell the To:___ person about. Christmas can mean that the Christmas tree gets put up. I get to decorate and put it together. It looks pretty at night with all the lights on, ornaments on, and star on. Christmas can mean that neighbors put up lights on their house. Near Christmas, my dad sometimes drives around and lets my sister and me look for houses with lights. One house in our neighborhood always puts up a huge light-up Christmas tree decoration on their roof. It’s so tall that I can see just the tip of it over the trees. Christmas can mean a lot to me, I didn’t even mention the celebrations.
