Tyrannosaurus

The Tyrannosaurus was one of the first dinosaurs I knew. It appeared in almost every book, puzzle, or poster I ever saw or had. The name means "tyrant lizard", tyrrano- equals tyrant and -saurus means lizard. The Tyrannosaurus is a big carnivore, with very sharp ,pointed teeth. It's eyes are on the side of it's head, but it has sharp eyesight anyway, perfect for hunting. It's bite is deadly, and it can smell very well. These features make it very fatal to it's prey. It has a big head in my opinion, but, despite it's size, it also has really tiny, stubby hands with two fingers on each. I don't think it used it's hands that much, they probably weren't long enough to pick food up off the ground to it's mouth. Then there are his tall strong legs and big feet with three toes on each. That helps the Tyrannosaurus run faster after.it's prey. All carnivores should be fast to catch other dinosaurs. At his rear,a long, thick tai sticks out . I can only remember that the tail is held straight out behind the Tyrannosaurus, maybe so that the tail won't drag behind it when it's running. It might get in the way and slow down the dinosaur that way.

I don't know what color scientists think they are. When I looked up "Tyrannosaurus" on Google, it showed all different colors. I think it might've been brown, to blend in with the dirt and dust on the ground. However, brown wouldn't be a good camouflage against the green of forests. Oh well...

Tyrannosaurus basically eat every single dinosaur as far as I'm aware. The pictures I see them in are of it chasing other dinosaurs or roaming the forests or plains for food. Once, maybe I saw it sleeping. It has been a long time since I've seen or had time to see dinosaurs.

Then the asteroid fell and killed the Tyrannosaurus along with the other dinosaurs. Their remains are found in Montana, Texas, Wyoming, Utah, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Mongolia.
