 camping I brought my slingshot so I could practice there. I did that by putting pine cones on where branches should have been in a fallen tree. I would stand 35 yards away and try to hit the pine cones .Everyone (not the adults) had a fun time collecting sticks,pine needles, and other thing for our campfire. We also had a fun time trying to start a fire with flint. In the end I asked my dad for his cotton balls smeared with Vaseline. That got the fire started. All the dinners and breakfasts were very good. The adults made them but ,beforehand I searched up the recipes. On the first day, my aunt cooked steak over the fire I started. the steak was very juicy and flavorful. When she was cooking,my dad and I went fishing. We were camping next to Lake Tahoe’s beach so we could go fishing. We did not catch any fish but I had fun walking out and on the boulders. After dinner, we toasted marsh mellows for smores. Both of my cousins who are older than I am had the marsh mellows on fire.After smores, we built a big bonfire. At one point,my oldest cousin threw bundles of pine needles into the bonfire. The fire turned super high,smoky,and blue like when you cook on a stove. You should have seen it it was dazzling.
