 Welcome Change! By: Sri Chinmoy Don't resist; Be flexible. Don't be rigid; Be supple. Welcome change! Each change Is an illumining opportunity To knock at the door Of fulfilling progress sweet. This poem is similar to the other poems talking about new change, that is also written by Sri Chinmoy. One of the poems says that the mind is telling you that change is scary, but the heart is telling you that change is powerful. This poem is similar to my life for different reasons. One of the main reasons is that I don't always expect change and I want everything to stay the same as it is. Other times, change is a good thing. Even though I don't always want to change to happen, I know that I should be open minded. This poem is similar to what is happening to the world today because the world is not going to change.
