Do you think before you act Prometheus?

I think Prometheus would tell me that he did think before he gave humans the gift of fire. Even though he disobeyed Zeus, Prometheus was able to tell humans about fire and how to use it well and no to set it loose. But still he knew that men would someday be as great as gods and know almost about everything. When Prometheus was thrown into the cave and his liver eaten by vultures, Prometheus knew that nobody can change the time back and change what he did. Prometheus might have not been real but he did help people in need.

I have many things to say for a persuasive speech, but theses are my top three. My first one is why can't we chew gum in school, to some people it takes stress off of them and helps them focus more. Then why can't we use ipad touches in school, we can easily get our work and homework done on them. The last one is why can't we bring our ipods or other music devices to school, music can take away all of our stress and help us work on paper items like paragraphs and other stuff. Theses are the top three persuasive speeches that I would do.

To me the Federal government needs to work on gas prices, health care, and education. First, gas prices are going up because of the limited supply of gas in the world, so our government needs to work up a way to preserve gas and create a new way to make cars not use gas. Then there is health care that people have to pay lots of money just to have medical care just in case something happens to you which is a 90% chance that you will never get in a health problem. So our government should find a way to make medical care easy to get. Last there is education, kids really don't need homework and projects to do as much, because aren't teachers teaching us enough, I think that the government should help our stdents understand stuff enough to not get homework. This is what I think our government needs to do to help our country.

Our topic in LA is Are Athletes' being paid too much? I think that many many athletes are being paid too much just for playing a game. To me athletes like football, basketball, and baseball stars are getting too much money just for passing a ball and hitting one. In Pro Athletes' Salaries Aren't Overly Exorbitant, the author makes a point about how athletes are selfish and how other people are selfish by reacting to the selfish players. Then in another story about Do Professional Athletes Get Paided Too Much. This talks about how athletes are getting too much money by playing a game and getting millions of dollers just to play a game for people. I think that the money that athletes get can go to help other people in the world that need it the most than athletes that make millions.

Holes in My Sidewalk

In LA we read a poem called "Holes in the Sidewalk". This would be my story for Holes in the Sidewalk. I was walking on one sunny morning on a new sidewalk. Soon I fall into a hole and was falling forevr. This happend when I was smartmouthing my parents, because of this I fell in the hole. Soon I climb out and find myself walking again on the sidewalk, but suddenly I fall in holes again and can't get out. This time I argued with my friends and family that is why I can't get out. But later on my friends and family come up to me and help me out of the deep hole, because I apologized to my friends and family. Now I walk my sidewalk with with my friends and family and they make the sidewalk easy to walk.

There are many things that I can't live without in life. The first would be my family. Without my family I would not have any love or companions to travel with to fun places. The next thing would be my friends. I can't live without them because I won't be able to tell my dark secrets to them or tell them about my feelings. The last thing would be chocolate. Without chocolate I would die, I can't eat it when I am stressed or having a sweet tooth day and eat two thousand chocolates. Without all of these things I would have a very sad and not worth living for.

My Mysterious Setting

I think my mysterious setting would be at a dark foggy woods becuase anything can come after you or attack you without noticing. The character can get lost or couldn't see where they were going and fall or trip to their death. You can see that anyone could be the murderer or a suspect, because you can't really see their features in the woods well because of the fog. The more people that come in the story could be anyone who actually has to do with the murder. This way the story can be more fun to read and find out who did all the things.

Everyday fear takes us over in a heartbeat and changes our lives in so many ways and ideas. Fear can be cause by not getting homework in on time, getting a bad grade, or if you forgot something and don't know where it is. Emotions and also cause fear to people like letting go of someone you love or know or it can come by losing someone to anything. In Language Arts we read about people who are affraid when something flashes over them and they don't know what it is, all of their phones, cars, and radios are not working.They belive that there is an alien in their town, but they don't know who the alien is so they all judge eat other and don't trust each other. There are ways to help overcome your fears like talking about it to a friend, talking to your parents, or playing games can help you relax your mind and emotions. So everytime you feel fear go talk to someone or play a game because you know that you can stop your fear in every way.

My Favorite Story

In Language Arts my favorite story will have to be "Charles" because the little boy makes up a boy called Charles that does mean things at school. The mom and dad want to meet this kid that affects the class all day.
From now on everyday the boy comes homes and tells all the bad things Charles did at school. But next week the boy comes home and tells his parents what Charles did he said that Charles did good things and was the teachers helper. Finaly when the mom goes to teacher conference she asked the teacher about Charles and she said "we have no Charles."
I hope that when the mom gets home she punished her boy or "Charles."

I think that if I hire myself then I will be a loyal and trustworthy person.
If you were looking for a responsible cliant to help you every thing like reports in by 2 hours and getting you coffe in when you need it on time. Second, I will be a reliable because I will allways had things in on time and work hard every day and I am a hardworking because I will stay up all night and do reports. Third, I am a trustworthy because you can always have my trust.This is why I would hire myself.
